President Obama will tout his healthcare law Tuesday to a Catholic group that has consistently supported the law despite deep divides over its birth control requirement.
In a speech to the Catholic Health Association — which represents hundreds of hospitals and nursing homes across the U.S. — the president will talk about the law's major tenets and make his case that it has improved health plans for virtually everyone, in addition to expanding coverage to millions.
The address comes just days before the Supreme Court is expected to issue a ruling that could halt the healthcare law's insurance subsidies to millions of Americans.

Heard a soundbite on the “news” on the radio this morning.
Obama was attacking his critics saying that Obamacare works.
The bill as passed fails and he has retroactively amended the bill by executive fiat (a power he simply DOES NOT HAVE).
Some of those changes Obama made were to POSTPONE provisions (when you HAD to take it up, HOW much you will be fined, rate increases that are still coming, etc.).
The American people STILL have not suffered the full weight of Obamacare.

For the first time since he’s been elected, I watched a little of the boy’s speech in Germany yesterday. I always new he was a liar but I didn’t realize it was that bad. People who elected this guy are blithering, drooling idiots.

I agree, he is on notice they are going to cave in to his wishes and just ignore the simple language in the bill THEY CREATED. It was not an oversight or mismeaning, what is was was an attempt to force the 40+ states against this law to nuckle under it. Now there are just 37 left who if they continue to not buy in, they will get killed by the taker society to join in the federal giveaway on the backs of the few taxpayers actually left.
Sister Carol Keenan, President of that association, led the charge for Obamacare for the Catholics, in opposition to the Bishops. The Bishops were worried of course about the abortion issue, while Sister Keenan expressed support for the administration’s work around. In recent years Sister Keenan has expressed her concern that it is not working as she thought it would. But obviously her and Obama have kissed and made up.
Fortunately, a good part of German has never been mesmerized into strange political action with other things that follow.

Within the next couple of weeks...the court is supposed to come out with it’s opinion. By making these speeches....I suspect he already knows the results of the court verdict and figures he might be able to hammer them enough to come to his view of things. But if they are within two months of releasing the verdict....things are already determined and it’s too late to persuade them to another opinion.
SCOTUS has already written the decision on Obamacare. I have no doubt that Obama has been given a heads-up one way or another. Personally, I think SCOTUS will save his bacon once again. Obama is just getting out in front to take the bows.
