No bad weather here. All is well.
:)
Old Composers never die.
They just go from bar to bar.
Ahhhhh..These are LOVELY!
Kathy,
Go for it, you will love the “NEW” eye sight!!!
Keep us posted on how you are doing after the eye “work”
Don’t miss any eye drops, I did like that part, drops running down my cheek when I missed...

Tonight Ill link to the videos of Valentina playing the 12 etudes of Opus 25.
The first, an allegro sostenuto in 4/4, is an exercise for the whole hand with the accent on the 4th and 5th fingers which play the theme.
Ah...ready for another evening of beautiful music!
What with Ms. B and Luvvie Sue in Texas at the shoot-out, I guess I’ll have to step up to the microphone.
We answer the call when we are needed! :-)
This presto in 4/4 is all about keeping the left hand (2 groups of triplet quarter notes) separate from the right hand (4 groups of triplet eighth notes).
Chopin’s etudes feed my brain.
the nocturnes, however, feed my SOUL.
Thanks for posting these! ;-)
I’ll run through the nocturnes next weekend.
All 19 of them come up on YT every time an etude is finished...so I am getting them all!
However, i look forward to your commentary!
