The New York Times Friday report that Republican Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.) and his wife Jeanette have been cited 17 times for traffic violations was written after the citations were pulled by liberal opposition research firm American Bridge, according to Miami-Dade County court records.
Records show that each of the citations mentioned by the New York Times were pulled in person by American Bridge operatives on May 26, 2015.
Take for example the time Rubio was pulled over in 1997. Mr. Rubios troubles behind the wheel predate his days in politics, wrote the New York Times. In 1997, when he was cited for careless driving by a Florida Highway Patrol officer, he was fined and took voluntary driving classes.
A look at the docket for that infraction on Miami-Dade Countys website shows that American Bridge was in Miami to pull records on that case at 11:42 a.m. on May 26:

In other words: the entire NYT article, credited two two reporters and a researcher, was oppo research dump provided by American Bridge.
Go NY Times! We hate Rubio’s guts too!
I don’t care about Rubio’s driving recored or his hot wife or her driving record.
I do care that he schemed with Scumer against the citizens and lied about his Gang’s bill and that he is still against the rule of law applying to fraudulently documented foreigners.
Four citations in 20 years? Big deal! Hillary is so out of touch with the world that she hasn’t driven a car in 30 years...
While I don’t like Rubio at all, I’m much more concerned about four dead US citizens in Benghazi than 17 traffic violations.
I hope this article is spread everywhere - there are still those who think the NYT is objective.
Agreed.
At least he drives, unlike the Hildabeast who has to be chauffeured everywhere.
By the Way NYT— Hillary has violated the federat criminal law at 18 usc 702 by admitting she removed and destroyed government property!! Rubio my Arse!!
I’ll take who is John Corzine for 100, Alex.
I’m not posting this to defend Rubio (though the “hit piece” was so pathetically lame that even if were inclined to do so, it would be pretty pointless) but to expose the sleaze of the NYT.
Wonder how much these two “reporters” and one “researcher” got paid for re-writing AB’s dump.
What with the money and influence scandals of the Clinton Foundation and Benghazi and such, let’s focus on something really relevant like a parking ticket a Republican got 20 years ago. NYT, very big of you!
Oppo? Is that like having a dri of wat?
If the media enemy is so out to get Rubio, I’m thinking maybe we should give him another look. Walker and Cruz have been given a “pass” lately; that makes me nervous.
If the NYT spent 2 hours researching Hillary, they would have enough evidence to put her away for the rest of her life.
After going through Sarah's trash and Mitt's tax returns, I guess it's Rubio's turn?
I agree.
That’s exactly what they wanted. This minor “hit” piece on trivial traffic infractions that do not matter to anyone gets you to take another look at giving a backstabber more knives.
I will never vote for any of the Gang members that tried to “Comprehensively Screw Americans Out Of Their Country”.
They’re trying to ignore Cruz at the moment hoping he fades.
Of more concern to me, is that Rubio is an Amnesty Whore!
