http:www://safewise.com/safest-cities-America
This site lists the 100 safest cities of over 10,000 in population for 2015. (sorry, don't know how to make this computer post the thread. perhaps someone could help me with that)

This is advertising.
Note that they say “SafeWise security experts have collected and analyzed the most recent FBI crime statistics from all over the nation” and then they admit to cooking the books, “We then paired the data with our own research”. They’re not marketing west of the Mississippi.
Better list. At least it’s nationwide:

We don't need alarms.
Sorry. I spelled it wrong.
It’s Stephenville, Texas.
About 90 minutes southwest of Fort Worth.
I heard on a few of my firearms podcasts that they are VERY gun-friendly there.
AH
Yes I know Stephenville a great small town
Most of us here in Texas are very gun friendly, thank goodness
Thank you.
No Colorado towns on this list, eh?
Scrolling through the list a couple of things leapt out. First, why are there so few cities on the list that are West of the Mississippi? Second, Although the criterion is population greater than 10,000, most of the cities are not much over that number with only a handful over 25,000 and only one over 100,000.
The population density factor, to me at least, is self evident but I do not understand why there are so few Western cities on the list.
I’d love to go visit there someday.
I miss Texas. Lived there between ‘87 and ‘91.
Another observation. The towns I'm familiar with on the list, some have proximity to urban areas. But not to the challenged areas in the nearby city, so there isn't any spillover.

Kinnelon, NJ (58) has draught bear concerns?
Come on back Ya Hear!
Thanks again.
There’d be no way I could earn what I do for a living there.
Wish I could, though.
There is a surviving red-brick one-room schoolhouse from the colonial period in Ohio? Must have been built by the Indians—white settlement of Ohio began after the Revolutionary War.
You must have a snow removal business
OR you rely on Liberals in your biz :)
I make malt at Coors in Golden, Colorado.
Well darn
I probably wouldn’t leave Colo either. I am guessing you can just ignore the libs.
however we have a pretty thriving independent beer brewing industry here.
Coors light was THE beer in college. I know it was wimpy but it didn’t seem so at the time.
don't get me wrong....there are jewels in the east and so many lovely small towns....the bad places for crime like NY and Baltimore and Philly give the east a bad rep....
And HOT, too...
