As questions remain unanswered about the last months deadly biker rampage in Waco, Texas, police there are trying to clamp down on public information about the case.
The move as scrutiny intensifies over the Waco Police Departments handling of the sensational shootout that killed nine bikers, injured 18 and saw an unprecedented 175 people arrested and charged with engaging in organized crime.
By law, crime and arrest reports containing basic data information such as a detailed description of the offense and the name and a description of the victim have to be provided.
While some details about the dead, including identities, have trickled out, officials have been slow to provide information through documented reports as required by Texas Public Records Act.
Documents that have been released to Yahoo News appear to hap-hazardously redacted. Even though required by law, the names of arresting officers are omitted. But the identities, addresses and other contact information of suspects next-of-kin are prevalent.

Still unknown is where each victim was killed and by whom. Officers have acknowledged firing on armed bikers, but it is not clear how many of the dead were shot by gang members and how many were shot by officers.
Yahoo News submitted a written request on May 19 for reports related to the nine people who were shot and killed at the Twin Peaks restaurant.
On Wednesday, the Waco City Attorneys office asked the Texas Attorney General for permission to withhold the records from Yahoo News and other media outlets that have made similar requests.

“While in Special Operations Swanton was also involved in the aftermath at Mount Carmel and was awarded the Police Commendation bar along with his other teammates for their involvement.”

The Associated Press was only able to find two with criminal records in Texas. One had a DUI from years ago and the other got 45 days years ago in the local jail for carrying an unknown type weapon in a bar.
The big question is was there an undercover cop in that initial scuffle and was it planned since it started directly in front of a dozen SWAT scopes?
Some of those “weapons” were nail clippers and such. For real. No lie. No telling how many screw drivers were confiscated from the impounded vehicles. Swanton later had to dial the number back just like he’s had to dial back every tall tale he’s told.
Hope the sign in sheets at the morgue are complete and an attorney has a copy of them as well as any video inside or the hallway of who may have had access to the victims' palms and fingerprints. Just sayin'.
And in "hostile" Texas with the Governor suspicious of Jade Helm and smack dab in the middle of the Legislature's vote on Open Carry. His bad luck there weren't any Ft. Hood soldiers in the mix.
Amen!
Lets see if the Texas Attorney General's office buys into that absurd notion of yours...I sure don't.
There are exactly four law enforcement personnel that I trust and I trust them with my life. All of the other ones out there, I can’t trust because I do not know them and the fear and paranoia that is prevalent in law enforcement today, I’m not sure I care to know them. Nothing against them but with how our Government is acting now, I am very suspicious of anyone carrying a badge.
“I think the version of events as told by the motorcycle club members is probably much more accurate than that of the police.”
Snyder had no criticism of how police responded or their decision to open fire.
“The police were professional, considering the situation they were in. They were professional and doing their job,” he said.
After the shooting, Snyder said he and other members of his club cooperated with police.
“We were not arrested. We were detained and questioned. Everyone on scene was detained and questioned. Some were sent home and some were not, and I don’t know why,” he said.
No members of his club were arrested, he said.

Frankly, the Waco Stonewall has been formidable. Not seen any leaks at all since they muzzled Sgt Swanton on about Day 2.
