~Sigh~

Besides all the queers coming out at Graduation, we now have this.

Is it too much to ask that Graduation Ceremonies be held with dignity and decency?

Give them a break. This is their life's achievement.

Maybe the best way to deal with this is to insist on large tickets for each visitor, even if they are free. On the ticket it must say ADMIT ONE ONLY IF QUIET. NO APPLAUSE, NO SHOUTING, NO CHEERING. ANYONE MAKING NOISE WILL BE PROSECUTED. After the last name has been called, there will be a time for cheering on your graduate. We take your student’s achievements seriously. Please do the same.

My youngest son graduated from college three weeks ago. My video was ruined by the jerk sitting near us with an air horn.

My niece graduated from college last weekend. When diplomas were handed out each person had their own cheering section. One graduate’s name was called and we heard her Mama say ‘That’s my baby!”

The rest of the house laughed and cheered for her baby!

I loved it!

They have dumbed down high school so much a diploma is worthless and college is so dumbed down from even twenty years ago that most college degrees are worth less than a high school diploma from 1980.

I had my degree mailed to me a week later. Saved over $150 for nonsense graduation stupidity.

FWIW: Also was boycotting because the graduation speaker was none other than Jesse Jackson. I pitched a fit that they would use ANY money to bring that worthless black bigot to a small business college in Ohio. For what they paid him they could have gotten a CEO of one of Ohio’s many fortune 500 companies or anyone off the street.

When our Granddaughter graduated two years ago and got out of her wheel chair and walked across the stage and received her diploma with Honors we all cheered. You see on December 31st she had been diagnosed with Osteo Sarcoma and had went through week after week of in patient Chemotherapy and had limb salvage and removal of her tumor in April, it was quite a accomplishment and YES we let her know We were proud of her accomplishment.

Yep, hootin’ and hollerin’ like apes. That’s what this country has devolved down to. No such thing as dignity, decorum, respect. Those belonged to a civilized society. That is something that no longer applies to America. We’re back down with the Zulus.

When people act like animals, they should be treated like animals. Warrants? I would have used stun-guns.

And how blatantly sick and self-absorbed is it to use a graduation ceremony to loudly proclaim you’re a homo and like to take it up the anus? After twelve years of schooling and hard work, and then have some blasted faggot intrude on the symbolic endpoint of your accomplishment to solicit attention towards his sick perversion? Man, if that happened when I graduated, I could have truly killed the bastard.

Makes you wonder what would happen to graduates who walk across the stage and yell “Hi, mom!”. Wonder if they would be arrested as well.

A couple years after I graduated from Virginia Tech, a diploma showed up in the mail at my parents house. Nice that they could find me. I was overseas doing my thing.

Nearly 40 years later those bastards still call me up for donations.

Having attended, or participated in about 40 or so graduations over the years, I can testify that there is one demographic group that causes 90 percent of this problem. The best way to control the problem would be to force the school officials to be honest with their grading and graduation requirements. If they did, there would be far fewer opportunities to disrupt the graduation ceremony.

I’d like to go to a high school graduation where R. Lee Ermey gives the intro. “For those of you who shout out, you are nothing but unorganized grab-asstic pieces of amphibian shit! I have your name, I have your number. You had best unf**k yourself or I will unscrew your head and SHIT DOWN YOUR NECK!”

Lee is a nice guy. Met him once and was impressed.

“Is it too much to ask that Graduation Ceremonies be held with dignity and decency?”....

When you ask people with a grade school level education (or worse) to respect such ceremonies, what can you expect? Those who choose to “expound” sure as hell avoid paying attention to other laws, why then this one?

True story......A few years back I attended a graduation where several Somali’s youth had been “integrated” into the graduating class. The Somali family members LITERALLY jumped up on the chairs and seats, screaming and shouting for their “off spring” as the graduate crossed the stage. It was not a very “ceremonious” graduation and it DID happen.

Its been a hundred years since I graduated from anything. I didn’t bother to go to the ceremony, I let them mail me the diploma. I wasn’t much for ceremony when I was young.

But had I gone, and someone cheered for me, I can’t imagine them being arrested. Really?

In fact, every graduation I’ve attended for young relatives, people cheer. Big deal. Its their day.

Arrest is going too far, but have any of those here defending cheering and shouting for “their” graduate considered how those of us who missed hearing the name of the student we are proud of? All the students have accomplished something special by working for their diploma as well? It was very disappointed. It was very disheartening. Are the students whose family follows the requests of the school to hold applause less valued by the family? Spoiling others efforts to enjoy a graduation is self-centered and simply rude. Freedom of speech isn’t taken away by asking for respect and cheering at the conclusion of graduation shows pride in the student too.

At both of my daughters’ graduations, it was primarily the black families that reacted this way. The rest of us respected the call to keep it quiet. Wasn’t a big deal, just annoying.
