President Barack Obama apparently thinks he’s the closest thing to a Jewish president America has ever had.
Speaking to JPUpdates.com, top Obama confidant David Axelrod described a moment where the president expressed exasperation to him over being derided as anti-Israel by some.
“You know, I think I am the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat in this office,” the president claimed, according to Axelrod. “For people to say that I am anti-Israel, or, even worse, anti-Semitic, it hurts.”
During Obama’s tenure, U.S.-Israel relations have fallen to their lowest point in decades.
In the interview, Axelrod attempted to blame the current impasse between America and Israel as the fault of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Axelrod slammed Netanyahu for only being in politics because he wants “to be somebody,” in contrast to Obama and more “respectable” politicians who Axelrod claims entered elective politics to do “something positive.”
Where do you get intelligent? He's the dumbest sack of rocks we've ever seen. He has never accomplished anything in his life, and he owes everything he has to the fact that he's black, and can hustle people with bullsh*t.

Just look at his known finances while living in Chicago. He and Michelle were deep in debt, and unable to manage the money and property they had. Were it not for his getting elected to the Illinois Senate, and all the corruption that enriched him as a result, he would be broke and penniless right now.
He lost his law license for lying on his bar application. His books were written by others. If he weren't black, he would be a nobody. The media wouldn't have picked him up and made him into a sensation, and no one would have ever heard of Barack Obama.
He is entirely a creation of the media.
At this point, Obama borders on Stalinism; he might even go into the Outer Limits of leftism—he would make Ayers blush at some point, if we don’t stop him....

Overwhelmingly, the 60s-70s era communists running the country today (Obama's handlers, and other various people around him), and damn near all of the radical terrorist groups of the time were/are Maoist: Black Panther Party, Black Liberation Army (Rev Wright's "Black Liberation Theology"), Weather Underground (Obama's pal Bill Ayers' group), Symbionese Liberation Army (Patty Hearst), on and on.

Well Obama might be correct on this issue, the Jewish people in America account for around 50% or more of ALL money flowing in to the National Fascist Democrat Party, aka the DNC. So when you consider that fact he might just be correct.

Why do you think I would bother responding to such a rudely-worded request? Especially since you can’t be bothered to read the link on this very thread that contains the information you seek?
Seriously, do you act like that in real life? If so, your parents failed.
My question was more of a rhetorical one - i.e. has a single legitimate historical study (as opposed to an opinion piece) or genealogical analysis backed up these claims? The article you posted uses the fact that Lincoln had a Biblical first name (so did a lot of people in 19th century America, and to a lesser extent to this day), appointed Jewish friends to positions of power (as did Jefferson Davis), and opposed Grant's anti-Jewish policies to make its case. That mixed with off the cuff hearsay is pretty weak as "evidence" to support any alleged claims of Lincoln's Jewish ancestry.
You'd also think that if there was so much as a rumor that Lincoln was Jewish, his political enemies (most of the South and many in the North) would have made a lot of propaganda out of it. They didn't because there wasn't any basis for it.
There are a lot of stories to the effect that Lincoln claimed he was of Jewish descent, and that does match the story of the town of Lincoln in England.
And I doubt the South would make much of being Jewish given the government was disproportionately Jewish.
But you are correct, his confirmed ancestry falls apart rather quickly off the shores of North America, so there is little to prove or disprove the Lincoln family lore, except to confirm that it is possible.
