Secretary of State John Kerrys severe bicycle accident might have foreign policy implications. He recently broke his leg while cycling in Switzerland.
When asked by reporters about the accident, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest admitted that nuclear talks with Iran would be affected by the accident, but reassured them that Kerry would still play a prominent role in the process.
The fact is, we do continue to believe that we have the time and resources necessary to pursue and hopefully complete the Iran negotiations, he said. And Im confident that those negotiations will be affected by the secretarys injury, but exactly how we move forward on this is something that well have more details on later.
Earnest admitted that it was unlikely that Kerry would be traveling to Europe in the near future to meet with Iranian officials, but declined to name another representative from the Obama administration.
Whether hes going to spend every day over the next four weeks in Europe negotiating face-to-face with his counterpart seems to be unlikely that hell be able to do that given the injury that he sustained, Earnest explained.

With this bunch, I don’t even believe he broke his leg.
Big deal. I broke my leg when in the army. It was casted and I was sent back to duty.
A pity. Had he landed on his head instead, nothing important would have been broken.
It must have happened.

My thoughts, exactly!!
FDR was literally on his deathbed and still made it to Yalta.
More good news.
Too bad the cretin in the White Outhouse doesn’t ride a bicycle.
SoS Kerry, and his continuing legacy of self-inflicted wounds, under duress. I can’t wait to see your self-written award commendation, Johnny K.
Dumb & Dumber.
Here at the farm we call those bandy legs——something an underfed Pullet might get caught with.
LOL
Israel? Heheheheh!! The thought makes me laugh!
I nominate John Bolton.
Why doesn’t he just Skype or arrange a net-meeting?
They can communicate via the Clinton server; what could go wrong?
Is he gonna get his 4th Purple Heart?
Cordially,
teleconference
