A 'sexy' Czech hunter who has been widely criticized for posting photos of her big game trophies and an American TV host paired up for a controversial outing in Slovakia.

Michaela Fialova and Larysa Switlyk documented their trip as they hunted roe deer in Europe together, filming as they went in search of the animals.

The ladies documented not just the kill, but also the aftermath as they cooked and ate the animals.

Fiavola, 27, who is from Litomerice, Czech Republic, spends the rest of her time working as a personal trainer, kick-boxer and guide for other hunters in Africa and Europe, began hunting when she was just 13-years-old.

She has previously described the sport by saying hunting gives people 'memories that will last a lifetime.'

“Agreed - except I think many would polish off their neighbours and children before hurting their beloved pets. Seems to be a fair amount of pet worship going on these days.”

Amazing! How in the world have you and Custodiet1776 kept your perspective when virtually the entire nation has gone nuts? Your comments are refreshing, not to mention spot on.

Why a baby dear? Are they supposed to taste different?

lol....are you referring to the comment about pet worship? I normally keep that to myself, as I am greatly out-numbered these days! I don’t dislike pets, but I am often shaking my head at the over-the-top attachment some people have to them. The devotion some people have to their pets, IMHO, is just not healthy.

In Felix Salten’s original novel Bambi is a roe deer. Disney made him a whitetail.

“lol....are you referring to the comment about pet worship?”

Yes, indeed I am! It’s ridiculous how this nation has put animals on the same level and many times above that of humankind. Millions of dollars are being spent keeping sick, diseased and disabled animals alive in shelters while children are starving all over the world.

In the event of some major catastrophe, I wonder how many of these animal worshippers would let their children starve before they would eat Fluffy or Fido. A good many I would say. Common sense has definitely become a scarce commodity these days when it comes to animals.

I watch men who are firefighters and rescue workers risk their lives and that of their families to save a dog someone has stupidly let go into a dangerous situation and they’re hailed as heroes. I wonder if their families would think so if they died saving an animal at the expense of their spouses, children and loved ones. I say the animal isn’t worth risking a human life. However, I’m sure that I’m vastly outnumbered too since such incidents always make the news and are reported as if they made sense.

I was brought up on a farm and it wasn’t unusual for me to enjoy petting an animal one day and enjoying it on my plate the next. We are so spoiled a society that our common sense has been skewed. I don’t like to think about what has to happen to bring it back around.

Well thank you!

So glad to hear I’m not alone rolling my eyes at the pet worship going on today.

I go to the odd evening of friends and acquaintances and sit and listen to everyone talking about their pets, including their pets’ personalities, habits, etc., etc. It’s unbelievable. I know of people who have actually had birthday parties for their pets, inviting OTHER pets and their “mothers and fathers”. They no longer refer to them as the owners. Cards from pets, pictures of pets everywhere, and, yes, paying $300 per month to keep a diabetic cat alive.....absolutely nuts.

Thanks for letting me know I’m not the only one who thinks this pet obsession is over the top.
