Well, this is reassuring and weve certainly never heard it before! Theres just one catch (well, maybe a few catches): note, first of all, that Ahmidiyya leader Shahzad Amjad, at least as far as this story goes, doesnt offer a single specific example of how the Islamic State is misrepresenting the teachings of the Quran and Muhammad. Second, it is risible for Amjad to present himself as a representative of mainstream Islam, when the Ahmadiyya represent no more than three percent of Muslims worldwide, and are violently persecuted as heretics by Sunni Muslims in Pakistan and Indonesia. In Pakistan, theyre not even allowed legally to proclaim themselves as Muslims. Amjad, like his far cleverer and more sinister brethren Qasim Rashid and Haris Zafar, is carrying water for those who oppress his people by misleading Americans into complacency about the nature and magnitude of the threat they pose.
Muslim group in Tempe pushes back against ISIS extremism, by Garrett Mitchell, The Republic, May 30, 2015 (thanks to Darcy):

Notice once again that the focus was on convincing non-Muslims of this, not on convincing young Muslims that the teachings of the Islamic State were wrong. All the talk about the Phoenix protest and bigotry takes on a new light when one remembers that two adherents of the Islamic State, Ibrahim Simpson and Nadir Soofi, tried to commit mass murder at our free speech event in Texas and they were from Phoenix, where they were members in good standing at the mosque where the demo was held.

Lying is part of Islam but I can’t help thinking that Islam has learned some tricks about lying from their new-found pals, The Left.
The Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam [taqiyya]
Indeed, a patent lie.
Just read of the life of Mohammed. He did all the same things; the thieving, the piracy, the mass murders, the torture, the child rapes, the sex slaves, the slave trading, the imposition of impossible standards that even he could not meet.
ISIS is as Islamic as Islam’s originator, Mohammed himself.
Oh yes. This group’s constant public protests and daily demonstrations at the atrocities committed by ISIS are public record. They have a long history of outcry against radical Islam.......don’t they?
So what are they? Hindu? Buddhist?
Of course ISIS has nothing to do with Islam. ISIS is mainly about killing Christians, killing Jews, killing for fun, destroying irreplaceable artifacts, rape, and general abuse of women and children. When have we ever heard of Muslims doing that sort of thing?
It does not matter which branch is doing it just look at Iran and Saudi Arabia....Sunni and Shiite. What woman wants to live there with half a brain???????????????? Not to mention Christian, Jew, gay etc.
Nobody except the branch of islam accepted in that country has a chance and only if you are a man otherwise basic life is rigged against you and even if you meet the basic criteria for that branch of islam, basic life is usually made difficult.
Interesting. That’s what 0 said.
ExCTCitizen: “Islam has nothing to do with religion.” There fixed it...
HEREIN lies the problem. MOST alcoholics don;t admit they have a problem either. Denial is as old as the Garden of Eden. May they WAKE UP...and see that their little so called holy book is wrecking havoc upon the Creation of a Loving, Forgiving God who wanted us to be kind to one another.
Hillary is an honest and truthful woman...........
They have ISLAM in their NAME!
Yea Right..... And a Pigs A$$ isn’t Pork
He needs to go tell ISIS that they aren’t Islamic.
It is 100% taqiyya. Where are the non-Shia Muslims who are fighting ISIS?
The minute the word goes out form the mosque, they’re in.
"Allah" is the Father of Lies.
(See tagline...)
Mentally deficient liars. moozlums have nothing to do with islam????? Typical insane moozlums.
You can't get much authentically muslim than to do exactly what mohamed did.
