Paul: "I’m not going to take it anymore"

Sen. Rand Paul burst back into Washington on Sunday evening making clear that he is not relenting in his battle to hobble the Patriot Act. “Are we going to so blithely give up our freedom? Are we going to so blindly go along and take it?” the Kentucky Republican and presidential candidate said from the Senate floor, raising his voice to reach the approximately two dozen supporters wearing “Stand with Rand” t-shirts in the chamber gallery.

The Senators just RE-ELECTED him.. to make sure that we do..
No matter how “pissy faced” Rand Paul gets..

Problem is; Rand Paul knows it.. and is posturing..

He (RandPaul) seems to be a one trick pony

He hit a raw nerve with the drones and this. Add to that his willingness to question wars, and he's set himself apart.

Don't underestimate how fed up most US citizens are with DC.

He obviously loves our Country contrary to the MB there now. AT THIS POINT LOVE OF COUNTRY TRANSLATES INTO LOVE OF CONSTITUTION. This trumps all else and time to bring in the dhows and banana boats to send the rest home - they don’t all have to make it....self edited...

Where is the legislation to block the EPA rules he spoke of?

Getting on a soapbox to rant about it for campaign consumption is a very overdone tactic that often goes without any substance coming form it.

Sorry to be cynical - but we’re tired of rhetoric and false hopes being offered by men who want to be our leaders and representatives.

Notwithstanding the fact that in a despotic tyranny such as we live now - Congress has made itself irrelevant, and the dictatorship can ignore anything it chooses to ignore and pass laws by decree without any input from anyone but itself.

What does Rand Paul or the Ruling Class Oligarchs in Congress plan to do about any of that?

Nothing is the obvious answer - except bloviate about it to fill campaign war chests.

RU nuts? Rand Paul is the only guy in the entire GOP trying get back your personal freedoms. That’s the kind of one trick pony I like. As a Ted Cruz supporter my only comment to him tonight is “where the eff were you Ted?”
