The accident occurred near Scionzier, France, outside the Swiss border. Paramedics and a physician were on the scene with his motorcade at the time.
Kerry was transported to Genevas main hospital HUG, where he was being evaluated, Kirby said. A paramedic traveling with his motorcade immediately examined Kerry after his bike apparently his a curb, causing the fall, Kirby said.
X-rays were being taken of Kerrys right leg
It was unclear how long Kerry will be in the hospital four and what the accident means for the rest of his four-nation trip.

Kerry got a little boo-boo from doing little; I flew over the handlebars going too fast and got a few scratches.

Everybody in Switzerland gets airlifted. They must have like a bazillion choppers sitting around to tote folks off to the hospital. You could fall off your porch and sprain your knee, and theyd bring in a chopper to get you over to the emergency room.
Pretty much. It’s definitely a part of insurance Swiss can buy. Airlifting and repatriation by plane too.

It would be curious to juxtapose the French Health Care System vs Switzerlands. Obviously the Swiss System is better or they wouldnt have flown him their. Hmmm, another do as I say not as I do? Perhaps...
Swiss is better, but that isn’t why. He was just outside Geneva, which IS France. Geneva is on the border. When I lived there, my friends lived in France, and I shopped there too, so you get used to having your passport on you 24/7.

I am dying to see a photo of kerry all dressed in bike racing clothes and zoomy helmet, riding along in the countryside, with a phalanx of limos following him.

If the guy stop playing around maybe he’d get some work done. What a loser, do these guys ever work? I heard Obama called from the golf course to offer his sympathy.

I wonder how much taxpayers pay for his motorcade. Secret Service, medical team, etc. so Lurch can ride his bike. It's all a big vacation for these limo liberals, if not golf it's bike riding on the taxpayer dime or vacations in Aspen for Moochele. They don't have a work ethic

Those Iranians really screwed up. Recruiting a suicide curb to jump out in front of Kerry was a move intended to intimidate Lurch. Instead they damaged their (second) biggest ally. Now that's funny!
