While I understand the others’ sentiments, I also try to keep in mind how the few bad apples have ruined it for the rest of the good apples.
Cops slamming citizens to the ground for videoing arrests, shooting family pets, warrantless searches, and the list goes on.
I would say both sides are reaping the type of community they’ve sowed.
Police are the armed enforcers for politicians. Politicians have no regard for liberty, or the freedom of Americans. They are busy every day of their lives eroding freedoms and issuing new laws or regulations whilst profiting from their elected positions. The only thing that gives words written on a piece of paper any weight is the fact that the armed enforcers of the government stand readily by to ensure that those laws are adhered to. Once the armed enforcers no longer enforce, corrupt politicians can write all the words they want on pieces of paper, they will have no effect. Maybe there will be a massive upheaval and the sorry lot of corrupt politicians will be swept out of office. In the ensuing time though, some ancillary casualties might be expected from people who failed to arm themselves.

Can’t say I blame them, I wouldnt show up either..why would I..to get spit on, to get screamed at, if they want to kill each other go ahead and do it..the community already told the cops what they think of them so if Im a cop why should I put my life at risk to go to a crime scene where people are standing around, taking video, and screaming at me

The problem with that scenario, is that while we run out of money, we never run out of thugs.
