A man convicted of killing Washington DC intern Chandra Levy fourteen years ago is expected to get a new trial after government attorneys on Friday said the 'interests of justice' would best be served by one.
On Friday, after more than a year of sporadic hearings and legal wrangling, government attorneys made a stunning legal decision and withdrew their opposition to a new trial for El Salvador native Ingmar Guandique, 33.
In a four-page motion, they told a judge they were preparing to retry him after doubts have emerged about the testimony of his one-time cellmate.
Guandique's attorneys had previously asked a judge to grant him a new trial because they said the key witness in the case, Armando Morales, gave false or misleading testimony during his 2010 trial.....
....Levy's mother, Susan Levy, said in a telephone interview that she has always had some questions about whether Guandique killed her daughter, though her husband is '100 percent' convinced.....

Yep....some VERY suspicious behavior there trying to destroy a connection with her. Some very telling descriptions and conversations that say things like “smoking hot body...” come to mind.

This is why I don’t trust Kasich. He was a close pal of Condit’s. When the poop hit the oscillator for his waxed, chaps-wearing buddy, Kasich raced out of Washington, married, and had twins. In 10 minutes flat.

She stated that in her review of 115 news items from the Lexis-Nexis database, not a single mention of Guandique referred to his status as a "criminal illegal alien." She called the "glaring omission" of his status "a newsworthy act of negligence." She wrote that only the very conservative Human Events reported that the Immigration and Naturalization Service had approved his working legally while applying for temporary protected status. That application was ultimately denied, but not before he had already assaulted the two other women at Rock Creek Park.[81]
Gary will have to hope for another 9/11.

The guy is an illegal but that is nothing compared to MURDER, committed by a homegrown freak elected to represent the people of somewhere in CA. Allegedly. That is the story.
I’m glad this is coming out. I’m glad poor Chandra’s tell tale heart is beating in Condidit’s brick wall. I want justice for her.

John Kasich was a good friend of Condit. I got a bad feeling about this one.
We will see, Kasich is planning on running for POTUS. Bet he changes his mind now.

This illegal alien criminal type ought to get a new trial, because he didn’t kill Chandra; Condit did. The illegal merely took the fall for Condit.

Wonder if Condit’s leather chaps on his waxed thighs are feeling a bit uncomfortably tight these days??
