Prepare to say goodbye to TLC show “19 Kids and Counting.”
The family-centric reality show is being pulled from the network’s TV schedule one day after Josh Duggar issued an apology following molestation allegations, Page Six has learned.
It’s unclear if the network has made any permanent decisions regarding the show’s future but information about the show remains on the network’s site as of Friday.

I didn’t read the article but I think he was 12 and the statute of limitations is up.

He has already been prosecuted. His parents reported it to the police. That was 10 years ago, when he was still a minor. I don’t know what his sentence was, but it obviously wasn’t prison.
What about the episodes already filmed but not yet shown on TV? Will they ever be shown? Will they be put out for home video???
The incident has never been adjudicated.
I understand why TLC did this but just look at the UP channel..after Stephen Collins from 7th Heaven admitted to being a pedophile, the network dropped the show, stopped airing reruns of it..for the past two weeks 7th Heaven has been back on the air, everyday here in LA from 2-3PM
It is sad, because when this happened 10 years ago, the Duggars of course knew that their fame might expose it. They should have come clean then.
Now, their integrity is suspect. The most priced possession of a righteous man is his good name.

All the more reason to avoid anyone who would have anything to do with “reality” television.

Nope - they reported it to an individual state trooper.
I don’t know what his sentence was, but it obviously wasn’t prison.
This matter never ended up in court. It didn't help that the Duggar parents waited so long to say anything.
I’m glad I don’t even know where TLC is on my cable line up.
Those who live by the “Reality” Show shall die by the “Reality” Show. So sayith the Neilson ratings.
One could argue it’s people chasing after a quick profit without concern to the content of their programming that are the problem and not any particular political ideology.
I thiught he ran for office but failed. I knew he was involved in rental properties, not sure if either would be enough to support that family and the large house they have.
He was never prosecuted. The parents asked a family friend who was a cop to talk to him. That man warned him what could happen to him legally if what he did got out. But he never filed a report or even investigated the crimes.
Anyone who molests children is evil. It’s always good to call out evil for what it is.
However South Park has gotten some great material out of Honey Boo Boo.
I’m not saying that there is any excuse but there is forgiveness and redemption.
So, the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross doesn’t extend to those whose sin you deem too sinful for God’s grace? You want to stand before Christ and tell Him His sacrifice wasn’t enough for a repentant sinner, regardless of the nature of the sin? You’re braver than I am.
