Dem strategist Steve McMahon prefaced his remarks with the standard tongue-in-cheek disclaimer about not intending to hurt, by praising him, the prospects of someone from the other party. On this evening's With All Due Respect, McMahon then proceeded to gush over Marco Rubio, saying that listening to him recount his life story as the son of immigrants "melts my heart." McMahon predicted that Rubio would be the Republican nominee.
So . . . does McMahon's praise mean anything? Is Rubio really the Republican the Dems fear, or is it a don't-throw-us-in-the-briar-patch pitch on McMahon's part?

Dem strategist gushes over Rubio. For real, or briar patch material?
Ping to Today show list.
A Pub dems could vote for? huh?
Maybe his brain melted too.
If Rubio is the nominee they will still trash him beyond belief. They especially don’t want any minority/ffemale csndidate.
He’ll have a bit of trouble with Hillary in the primary, but what Republican will he face in the general election?

That should be all you need to know.
Did he get a tingle running up and down his leg, too?
Jebster is flaming out before he has even announced. Rubio is the backup for The Cheap Labor Express. The Ministry of Propaganda is just trying to “help” the Republicans nominate an amnesty candidate.
Any amnesty candidate is a designated loser.
Rubio has warts, but they all do. I like him.
Rubio says we must protect our borders first before amnesty even if to get that done the bill has to do both at the same time.
Only Rubio has a solution.
And he’s ‘Hispanic’
I am with you. He gets an F on immigration but all As and Bs on other things. I lost a lot of faith in him, not only with his gang of 8 nonsense, but the line of bull he tried to sell conservatives. He’s not my first or second choice, but he’d have my vote. He’s not the enemy.
Dream On.
I don’t give knives to backstabbers and I don’t give votes to amnesty supporters.
But his personal story is pulling at America's heartstrings, being an immigrant and such.
And he speaks Spanish too.
We should all know the routine by heart now. When Democrats gush over one of our candidates they’re telegraphing to us they know he or she is someone they can beat. If they disparage a candidate like Cruz and warn us that he will “scare” off the independents then we know it is they fear. This is routine practice for the Democrats and yet some people on our side don’t get this end around game they try to pull on us every election cycle.
I remember McMahon from the Bush v. Gore days. He’s a smarmy little sh*t who will say anything for a buck.
I will stand by Cruz, but would have no problem voting for Rubio either.
Steve McMahon with hands cuffed behind his back.
A 5 gallon spackle bucket filled with boiling camel urine.
Some assembly required.
Same here. Rubio is definitely not my choice in the primary.
If he wins it though, he is a candidate I can and will support.
