An obvious response is to wear “trigger warning” as a badge of honor. Make it a selling point: “trigger warning: not for the dogmatic or the closed-minded”.

A trigger warning is usually conveyed on a sign carried or posted near the auditorium where a speech is to be given, alerting students to the possibility that the speaker may express an idea that could trigger an emotional response.

These fools don't like the words of Jesus either, and He issues a lot of "trigger warnings."

"You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."

Matthew 12:3

"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?"

Matthew 23:33

They will revile us now, for trying to speak the truth, and they will revile us when they are older for not getting through to them.

Shoulda just spanked their shiny butts down the road to a work ethic and prosperity!

They call themselves feminists but they need a "safe space" to go to when their delicate ears are threatened by a controversial speaker. That young woman in the back with the water bottle, it looks like she is really bracing herself for something politically incorrect to be said. She seems so brave.

Seeing Obama on TV is a “trigger” for me. I remember how he raped Lady Liberty and gave her hepatitis and I feel bad.

Trigger warnings, right. Anyone remember those pretentious Victorian ladies who would “faint” when they heard words like “pantaloon”? The old is new again.
