How does any ship run aground these days with the sea levels rising so drastically? I mean even if the charts are off, they should be off by being deeper than they actually are.

As many cruises as Wifey and I went on.. We never bottomed out. Rammed anything.. Or otherwise had a calamity asea.
Saw a Coast Guard hell crew do their thing extracting a sick passenger once. Kudos to the USCG!
Never hit an iceberg in the jacuzzi.
Lucky us!

Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this [great big] ship.
The mate was a mighty sailing man,
The skipper brave and sure.
2,675 passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.
The weather started getting rough,
The great big ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The Norwegian would be lost, the Norwegian would be lost.
The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan
The Skipper too,
The millionaire and his wife,
The movie star
The professor and Mary Ann,
Here on some Bermuda isle.
