Trevor Loudon, the New Zealand conservative activist who has devoted himself in recent years to exposing President Obama as an “enemy within,” joined Gun Owners of America’s Larry Pratt on his radio program last month to discuss his upcoming movie, which he hopes will help get Ted Cruz elected president next year, thus saving America and the world.
Loudon promised Pratt that his movie “will go way further” than Dinesh D’Souza’s anti-Obama polemics “in exposing the Marxist” Obama. “America stands in the balance, and if America goes down, every Western country will fall, including my own,” he said.
Claiming that the president and dozens of members of Congress “could not pass a basic FBI security clearance to clean the toilets at any military base in your country,” he told Pratt that “Americans deserve to know the traitors that they have in their government.”
“If the Democrats get elected again, they’re going to dissolve the southern border, they’re going to legalize all the illegals, they’ll turn Texas blue, they’ll give them the vote, and basically you’ll have a one-party state in America,” he warned.
“Ted Cruz or a comparable patriot has to win the next election,” he said. “That is not a negotiable.”
Pratt was very impressed, telling Loudon, “Really, not since Joe McCarthy has anybody been willing to call these people out and say, ‘You don’t have the best interests of the country at heart.’”
Claiming that “any competent journalist could determine that Obama was a Marxist, a committed Marxist, his entire life with a couple of hours of decent research,” Loudon told Pratt that Obama is acting just like Russian agent sent to undermine America.
“If Obama was just incompetent, as some naïve people still tell you, clearly he’d make some mistakes in your favor from time to time,” he said. “Look, I say this, this is controversial: If Obama was a fully paid-up Russian agent, here to destroy the United States military, wreck your economy and take away your sovereignty, what would he be doing differently than he is today?”
“Collecting a bonus for a job done over and beyond expectation,” Pratt responded.
“This is Czechoslovakia in 1948, this is Venezuela under Hugo Chavez,” Loudon said. “And you’ve still got these naïve conservatives who tell you that America’s going to turn into France or Germany. I wish!”

If the country hangs by such a thin thread that the absence of one individual winning an election means its demise, then that country is already gone.

Probably. But exceptions abound in history: Churchill, George Washington come to mind.

Hi.
If the country hangs by such a thin thread that the absence of one individual winning an election means its demise, then that country is already gone.
Very good observation.

What Marxists? During the McCarthy hearings the Progressives proved there were no Marxists in government . Old news. Settled science. Nothing to be seen here./s

If the country hangs by such a thin thread that the absence of one individual winning an election means its demise, then that country is already gone.So either you don't think that the country is hanging by a thin thread, or you do think that and you are giving up.
Either way, I would disagree.

You have no idea what your talking about; you can find those who think as you on some other forum or start you own; here’s a suggestion for your own (Surrender We Much), if one man can bring the country to the point of hanging by a thin thread, than one man can restore the entire fabric.

Lyndsey Graham announced.
Should be good for our side. Lindsey will take more moderate votes than conservative votes in the Primaries and should therefore compete with the likes of Jeb, Marco, Christy etc.

Just like they didn't allow Ronald Reagan to be elected?

Just like they didn't allow Ronald Reagan to be elected? I live in Texas. I'm a huge Cruz fan. This ain't the same media that was against President Regan. Waaay more vicious and overt.

Maybe so, maybe not. However, both the Media and the GOP-E hated Reagan as they hate Cruz and for many of the same reasons.
Being a Texan, you should also be aware of the uphill fight Cruz had just to be elected as a Senator for Texas. He started out at 3% and the GOP party leadership did their best to destroy him just as the media did.
You maybe correct, however, you can't look at this scenario as if that one variable, the press, controls everything else. It does not. Furthermore, the other variables in this comparison/"equation" are not static in nature either.
All things considered, there are a lot of similarities between Ronald Reagan and Cruz and these two elections.
The press does not have the power you imply they have.

Lets see! America is the second largest business in the world. Why don’t we try something new and different? Lets not vote for a politician’s but a business man that has been highly successful in business. How about one that has created thousands of real jobs and made lots of real money. Do we know anyone like that? Mr. Trump is the only one I know of.

The press does not have the power you imply they have. In Texas we have this thing called TV and the internet. ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN. Perhaps you missed Juan McCain, Mittens Romney? The media does have more power than you imply they don't.

I have a lot of respect for Trevor. He’s right and getting righter by the day as we watch Cruz perform leading up to the election. You never know for sure, but he seems like a good and smart guy.
I pray that Jesus will give us a break - even though this Nation does not deserve it after we put Obama in office for two terms.
The way Cruz responded to that race baiting “reporter” was amazingly innocent, calm and winsome. He came across as a good and intelligent man and the reporter came out looking like a racist limo lib. It was like Ted knew the fool was doing himself in and he just got out of the way, and allowed him to go over the cliff. Then when even lefty reporters were embarrassed by the exchange, Cruz says “throw the poor guy a rope.” So classy.
