Nine people have been killed and 18 hospitalized in a shoot-out between rival biker gangs at a recruitment event in a Texas restaurant on Sunday afternoon.
What started as a physical fight in the bathroom spilled out into the bar and rapidly escalated to involve chains, clubs, knives and gunfire across Twin Peaks Bar and Grill in Waco, local media reports.
Diners, including young children, scrambled and many took shelter in the freezer as hundreds of gang members ran rampage around the booths, according to KXXV.

I’m glad these bikers were given the same “room to destroy” and had the same restraint allowed them as all those black looters that have been in the news lately. Oh.....wait!
“Theres always a rotten apple but that is no reflection on Tx or Bikers in general”
‘a rotten apple’?
ROTFLMAO!
“When both of the guys that got smacked with the chair did nothing, thats when I figured out who I was sitting with.”
So you joined their gang?
And the sign out front said 'BIKE NIGHT', so mom and dad were hoping the kids would pick up some tips from the healthy bicyclists in attendance.
“Why would any parent take young children to Twin Peaks? Oh. I know. The wings are good.”
Why would anyone jump to the conclusion and post as fact something that is probably false in order to disparage a family?
Bet those guys are lawyer shopping this morning.
You sure they didn’t cover up their cuts? Because you never remove your cut unless you are home and have a safe place for it.
Of course the cops are going to say they did everything by the book and were completely justified.
However, there is absolutely no way the cops are able to give an accurate report of what happened that soon after the smoke of battle clears.
I will admit I worded things badly, however, my point remains: some people posting at FR do have the attitude that it is okay if certain undesirable members of society are shot on sight.
I find this kind of thinking extremely dangerous. This is a line we do not want to encourage government to cross.
Unfortunately, though, the “we shot undesirables” line is one cops used to justify Waco and Ruby Ridge.
Thanks...I couldn’t find the names of the groups.
Bandidos is one I have heard about. The others must be “locals”. “Local” meaning that they are mostly in one part of a state and are not affiliated nationally.
No, just drank beer together.
As far as I know I never had any contact with him again.
No they didn’t wear their colors in the bar when the bar was open to the public. They owned the bar and it’s bad for business.
One or 2 people don’t want to go into a bar by themselves if everyone else in the bar is a biker wearing colors.
The bar was right before you got to the main gate at the navy base. Navy was their main customers.
Drunk sailors also like to fight so no point in giving them a reason.
>>zz LOL.<<
Yea right? I kinda chuckled myself seeing as this was the closest I could come to the symbol.
About 15 years ago MC clubs across the nation “joined” together to keep cops from harassing them. Leaders from each club meet once a month to discuss issues. Lots of times lawyers are present to comment. Outlaw clubs allowed it and sometimes or most times joined in, probably to keep eyes on the goings on.
It is suppose to be a way of keeping the peace as well. It sounds like it was meeting of “the confederation of clubs” which is what they call themselves.
I bet some fights started, maybe a gun or three was pulled, maybe shot and then the cops shot a bunch of bikers. The Cossacks are mostly joe six packs and not hard outlaws whereas the Bandidos have more outlaws.
Chances are a prospect club is making inroads into Texas and Waco. That’s when the red and white or outlaws will help start a local club in another groups area. It starts small and escalates until the red and white patches them over and they already have a foothold.
Sounds like what is going on here. Maybe the scmitars? are R&W
Seattle Cossacks have been around since 1938, er, no, the gangs likely have nothing to do with each other.

These Cossacks from Texas have been around since 1969.
A few years ago, a Bandido stabbed a Cossack.
Thursday is Biker night.
Sounds like from the article, they knew there could be trouble.
“A May 2014 story in the Odessa American shows members of the Cossacks and Scimitars volunteering to build a playground.”
Looks like the Cossacks and Scimitars are actually a pretty obscure group though the articles seems to infer they are a criminal element nonetheless. Maybe these Bandidos are a bunch of bullies.
We’ll find out when we see who the 192 arrested are.
Ok, found the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents’ event listed on the United Clubs of Waco site so the meeting was scheduled - http://localendar.com/public/ucoctadmin . You can see there are non-violent club events listed. Of course, combining booze, big boobs, and bad apples in a Sunday School room would be asking for trouble, too.
What?! Bikers emulate an outlaw culture. I see two types, the "weekend bikers" who try to look like the outlaws for fashion sake, and the real 24/7 bikers, who embrace the drug, sex, anti-establishment "values" of the 60's radicals.
Sure, there are some who claim to have values, but why emulate a valueless culture, then? And the inconsiderate, 115-decibel racket of their machines are anything but "salt of the earth."
Texans sure as hell are too
True, but I'd wager a lot of these rednecks were out-of-towners.
Well, there were witnesses. I heard a few interviewed.
