What is the war:
It when the wife of your 'sworn brother' has a Birthday, and all platoon gathers money so that he could buy her a gold chain and a pendent.
- it when you have tea in the morning with a friend, and at lunchtime you learned that he died.
- it when faithless people cross themselves and thank God after each mine bows up and did not get them.
- it is when the church questions is it right or wrong to help a soldier who fights with weapons in hand, while sinful people are selling their possessions and risking their lives to bring food, medicines and warm clothes to the front.
- it is when you come home and you shudder at any sudden noise.
- it is when you wake up in the middle of the night and find yourself looking for any machine gun nearby.
- it is when automatically you peer into numbers of cars and you try to make out who sits in the cabin.
- it is when you start crying when you hear from the two-year-old daughter say the words: "The father is coming home!"
- it is when you try to go home and you stand an hour with the raised hand on the road and nobody stops. And do you think at this time - and whether it is worth it to continue fighting or let these people will see - what is.
- it when you want to cry, and but there are no tears.
- it when from vodka does not kill less people, than from bullets.
- it when you are called by friends and ask: "and why did you go there?!"
- it is when you can't wash tour feet for two weeks, no more wet towel wipes and it is good when there is a snow.
- when your wife says through her tears: "darling, have you not done enough," but thus adds not to give up!!!
