But now going back to 2012, it’s even worse” Wemple stated.

Peters said he was startled at how quickly ABC said 'end of discussion’ ..... this is about protecting a corporate brand. Stephanopoulos is ABC News....they really cannot afford, from a corporate branding standpoint, to leave him twisting in the wind.” Wemple added, “That is the problem with conflicts of interest...the anchor goes out and proves that they can be tough on Democrats, or the other party, goes overboard, and ends up committing unfairness.” Wemple concluded, “... I sensed that Stephanopoulous was going after Schweizer. In retrospect, it looks like activism.”

In his biased Schweitzer interview, Stephanopoulos mentioned that ABC had done its own investigations.....and concluded that there’s nothing to see here.

Stephanopoli dutifully buzz-sawed any whisper of wrong-doing.....but the ABC'er never mentioned his Clinton Foundation donation to ABC viewers.....in violation of the ABC network's requirement of "full disclosure."

Later in the ABC-TV Schwweizer interview, Stephanopoulos said, “I still haven’t heard any direct evidence..... and you (meaning Schweizer) just said....... you had no evidence that Hillary intervened here.” He noted that other news organizations that used Schweizer’s research “haven’t confirmed any evidence of any crime.”

It looks like the ABC veteran and Foundation donor has the party-line down pat.

The Clintons' cadre of puckered-up ***-kissers (lying-in-wait for federal jobs)---are spinning the explosive "Clinton Cash" revelations like crazy----blathering about "not a shred of evidence" of criminal wrongdoing.

Or as ABC's George Stephanopoulos helpfully parrotted, "There's no smoking gun."

The party-line is that "it’s extremely difficult to identify a direct quid pro quo"....b/c while Hillary was Secy of State, foreign funny money was moving around from hand to hand with big money deals approved which she could say were going to be approved anyway.

And at the same time, all that foreign money was floating around, it was flowing into the "charitable Clinton Foundation"..... not into Hillary’s bank account.

ABC-TV News is reportedly standing by Stephanopoulos.....but for how long? Because if they truly think it’s not a problem, then the “smoking gun” points not just to the credibility of Clinton donor George Stephanopoulos, but to ABC-TV News, as well.

WAIT A SEC---maybe Georgio did not disclose the $75G b/c it was not his money that was donated?
