Amazing! Mike Huckabee has totally changed his mind on Common Core

And now, I present the super amazing transformation timeline of Mike Huckabee on common core. ———- Mid 2013: “These standards, known as Common Core State Standards, have been near and dear to my heart since I served as Governor of your neighboring state of Arkansas. And it’s disturbing to me there have been criticisms of these standards directed by other conservatives including the RNC. The truth of the matter is, these criticisms are short-sighted. Like many of you, I’ve heard the argument these standards “threaten local control” of what’s being taught in Oklahoma classrooms. Speaking from one conservative to another, let me assure you this simply is not true.”

Believe it’s Debbie Schlussel who said Anuzi is a Hezbollah-Loving Michigan campaign chief.

Now is not the time for me to be nit-picky or chase every little thing down. Not appropriate.

I'll keep sending hours and real money to the Cruz campaign.

I know who I want to vote for.

Schools are steeped in liberal nonsense. If you think it is only in common core you are crazy. What common core does is let you look at it so you can complain and get rid of it.

I have researched it. What I see is a program to guarantee that kids are reading classic literature and learning strong math skills. Beyond that, you are ALWAYS going to be fighting against liberal nonsense in schools. Getting rid of common core won’t change that.

I home schooled. I have a laundry list of complaints about public schools. With that history going back more than 20 years, I don’t get the alarm over common core. Your complaints are valid. They are tiny compared to all the garbage in public schools.

‘Common Core’ and ‘Obamacare’ are - simply put - all about control of the people.

By far the biggest problem I have with common core is the centralization of the curriculum. This makes it an easy target for activists and we all know that the left is much better at activism than we are.

They’ve already managed to take over most agencies, they will take over this one as well. Actually in this case they already own it.

People forget that last election I couldn't vote for Romney because he was a liberal.

I've always said I would vote for any candidate that: acted against socialized medicine, actively supported the 2nd amendment, didn't support illegal immigration, supported life instead of killing babies, and had proof they were for a smaller federal government.

Cruz meets those ideals. Romney didn't. Romney was a liberal that I couldn't vote for.

Cruz is a conservative that meets my tests and I CAN vote for.

So I will. And send money to, and volunteer for...

It helps that I did this once before when he ran for Senate and beat out the GOP-E favorite.

But, once Common Core was hijacked by liberals and the feds, and then became a requirement for fed funds, Oklahoma led the retreat.

Staw-man.

Common Core has always been a liberal invention.

You won't find a true-blue conservative person involved in it from it's start. They only people who have changed on Common-Core are those that did not know what it was from the start, or like Huckabee, find it inconvenient to support it anymore. It has always been bad news. The reason Huckabee supported it in the beginning is that he has never known or believed in the proper idea of a limited and small federal government. Huckabee is a Christian-Socialist to his core.

Governor Huckabee is gaslighting voters. Just like Rand Paul and the other “Perot” type bs’ers.

Romney didn't even get one of my tests correct. And that's where the GOP-E meme about 'purists' came from. They had to blame someone since they ran a complete liberal... he wasn't imperfect. He was a frigging liberal.

His ability to lie about every thing and his lack of character is just further proof that your estimation of him as being a Liberal is spot-on.

You don’t support the murder of babies and the gay agenda and call yourself a Republican, much less a conservative.

Election time brings out the best in the best and the worst in the worst. How embarrassing to be caught and exposed as a chameleon.

It’s early, so guess it’s better to get all the muff ups and flip flops out there sooner than later.

The “standards” are cr*p. The John Dewey socialists destroyed American “education” and put in indoctrination written by their Marxists buddies since 1930 with a monopoly on curricula.

We need to return to Classical Education ONLY——the TRUE education “standards” that were pre-Dewey. AND THEN, we need to have only EXIT EXAMS-—so that NSA and other data bases are NULL AND VOID. Any State or Federal agency shouldn’t be allowed to collect ANY data on our children unless they break the law —no “mandatory” education either like prior to the 1900s.

We DON’T ALLOW THE STATE TO TRACK CHILDREN-—they can know only if they PASS EXIT exams like was done in the 1800s and children weren’t conditioned and made into dependent, emasculated slaves of the State.

Today’s Prussian system is for “group think” and dehumanization ONLY!!! It destroys Virtue formation and autonomy. All children should be raised in the Natural Family and NEVER put into an institution until after age 7 if EVEN THEN-—to have individuality destroyed. Socialization should be done in families and neighborhoods like when autonomy and self-directed responsible children KNEW what was Good and Evil. Thinking outside the box (Creative play) was a normal American activity until the Prussia group think conditioning factories to create fear of disagreeing with the mob.

Virtue is essential for Freedom. (Socrates) Virtue is LEARNED and HABITUATED by REAL LIFE experiences and human interactions with MORAL, ADULT ROLE MODELS and mostly decent children (loved and directed by parents) or older, moral siblings/cousins——not immature peers like in public schools where there are LOTS of feral, immoral children today who have evil parents or no active parents....and filthy TV and radio raises children and posits their worldview.
