ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos donated $50,000 to the Clinton Foundation in recent years, records show. The contribution is publicly available information, but the host had not previously disclosed it to ABC viewers, despite taking part in on-air discussions about the Clinton Foundation and its controversial relationship with foreign donors.
Stephanopoulos, a former aide to President Bill Clinton, confirmed the donation to POLITICOs Dylan Byers after the Free Beacon contacted ABC News for comment. The host, who acknowledged making two donations of $25,000 between 2013 and 2014, issued a statement of apology for failing to disclose his contributions.
Stephanopouloss recent coverage of the topic has been challenged by critics who question his objectivity as a longtime Clinton aide. The hosts April 26 interview with Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer, for example, elicited partisan reactions after Stephanopoulos repeatedly pressed the Schweizer to acknowledge the lack of a smoking gun among the allegations in his book. . .

That should be illegal during a primary season. Now how will he be able to ask questions to her? I am sure that he will say that he is doing good work for the poor in the World but he really is doing good work for Hillary.
He was Slick Willy Clinton’s Butt Boy back in the day.
That’s how he got his job with ABC.
And all he asked for in return was to service bill.
Exactly. They merely changed who was paying him to propagandize.
50K is small potatoes to the Clintons. It’s the thought that counts.
Think of the 50k as a “student” membership, in much the same vein that software companies will often sell their software to verified students at much lower prices than they offer to commercial users.
He was in the Clinton’s War Room back in the day.
He’s a Democrat operative to this day.
Never was a journalist.
If ABC had any credibility they would suspend him.
Similarly, if pigs had wings they would fly.
What a chump what did he expect in return more socialism.
And I’m pretty sure that the commemorative premium at the $50,000 donor level is a set of official kneepads with the Presidential seal, just in case Stephie wore out the pair he earned back in the day.
Stephanopoli’s failure to mention his Clinton Foundation donation to ABC-TV viewers is in violation of the ABC networks requirement of full disclosure.
ABC-TV News is reportedly standing by Stephanopoulos.....but for how long? Because if they truly think it’s not a problem, then the “smoking gun” points not just to the credibility of Clinton donor George Stephanopoulos, but to ABC-TV News, as well.

"Smile everybody. Another $100 million is on its
way and all our journo donors will keep it quiet."
Same guy who launched the “War on Women” meme in 2012, when he blindsided Romney with the birth control question in a debate.
That was a marching order. Once an operative, always an operative.
You’re right, $50K is probably what they spent on servers......

MARRAKESH, Morocco The scene that unfolded here last week as Bill Clinton convened world leaders for a philanthropic conference was hardly what his wifes champion-for-everyday-Americans campaign would have ordered up.
Gathered in Marrakesh for a Clinton Global Initiative confab, foreign oligarchs and corporate titans mingled amid palm trees, decorative pools and dazzling tiled courtyards with the former president and his traveling delegation of foundation donors many of whom are also donors to Hillary Rodham Clintons presidential campaign.
When daughter Chelsea moderated a discussion on womens empowerment, the only male panelist was Moroccos richest person, Othman Benjelloun, whose BMCE Bank is a CGI sponsor.
For the weeks biggest party, guests were chauffeured across the city to an opulent 56-room palace that boasts a private collection of Arabian horses, overlooks the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and serves a fine-dining menu of biolight cuisine.
It was a long way from Hillary Clintons campaign-trail visits to Chipotle. The luxe week in Morocco highlighted the over arching question facing the Clintons and their coexisting circles of political advisers: What to do with Bill?

ABC - credibility = oxymoron.
Stephanopoulos, a former aide to President Bill Clinton, confirmed the donation to POLITICOs Dylan Byers...Another Lying Partisan Media Shill, worse than most, and btw, it is NO SURPRISE that he got a job in the media, particularly ABC.
Applies to the entire news network at ABC, not just Stephanopoulos.
The GOP should inform ABC they will not accept the network for moderating any of the debates primary or presidential.
