Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) praised President Obama on the "fast track" trade bill, saying the Democrat commander in chief has "done his country a service."
"I’d like to thank the President too. No, you’re not hearing things. President Obama has done his country a service by taking on his base and pushing back on some of the more ridiculous rhetoric we’ve heard," the Republican leader said. "He was right to remind everyone that ‘you don’t make change through slogans’ or ‘ignoring realities.’"
McConnell added that Obama "should be recognized" for his role in the trade fight.

This TPP or TPA bill is the worst bill ever:

The American people and self-government would be the big losers.
Another chapter of the agreement making headlines this week, meanwhile, purports to regulate immigration policies among TPP signatories. “The Trans-Pacific Partnership includes an entire chapter on immigration,” observed Curtis Ellis, executive director of the American Jobs Alliance, in a post for The Hill. “It is a Trojan horse for Obama’s immigration agenda. House members who were ready to defund the Department of Homeland Security to stop President Obama’s executive action on immigration must not give him TPA, which he will use to ensure his immigration actions are locked in when he leaves office.”

Fast “track”? Obama and the GOPe are taking the country into a curve at 106 mph.
If this bill is so great, why is it essentially secret? It can only be viewed under high security, and with no note-taking.
I bet in addition to the trade policies, there’s some “enabling law” ringers buried deep in the bill, and that’s why Obama wants it so much.
What I can’t understand is why the GOP would line up for it, and the Dems against, when the secrecy is the essential problem for me.
The Trade Bill is a secret ,McConnell only knows what Obama’s little notes to him tells him ,LOL. The GOP are trying their best to lose all the seats they gained

Mitch McConnell is the poster boy for those who vote time and time again for Republicans and think that things will change.
In the last election we had a chance to dump him and “the boner” but the weak-kneed Republican House and Senate loved them so much they voted them for their leader.
