IM THINKING HE WAS HIGH... TEXTING AND SPEEDING!!
Examining the tracks
Or it could be gang related. NYC is having a lot of trouble with gang vandalism in the subway and train system.

Yep...
Is she waving hello or just happy to see us ?
Read it and be baffled. ‘A’ train was hit by a projectile (bullet, RPG, birdshirt?) about twenty minutes before crash. How relevant is this, especially when ( from what I can understand from this crap one is going south and one is going north?).
Well that says a lot! Reminds me of the NYC Ferry engineer who jumped ship and ran home, then attempted suicide with a pellet gun after he crashed the barge he was captaining into a dock killing & maiming a bunch of people.
Oh, that’s just great.
Eleanor Holmes s’Norton can’t park her car in a front in parking spot in less than five minutes and still getting it wrong.
FWIW just heard on WMAL radio train engineer refuses to speak with investigators.
He is? I thought the train was going 100 MPH?
he was allowing Eleanor ..... to “drive” the train...
I wouldnt talk either...
thats a signal.....for Im DOING the bess job I CAN..... driving this foo train....
I heard that bystanders saw something rise out into the sky and head towards Philly from the Atlantic close to East Moriches
“I heard that bystanders saw something rise out into the sky and head towards Philly from the Atlantic close to East Moriches”
That was the moon !
You have your eye out for Mullah Omar?
SEPTA stands for what ???
South East Pennsylvania Transport Authority or something ???
Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority yep
I have a client that takes the train every summer out to the east. One summer she called and cancelled her trip because the tracks warped in the summer and Amtrak cancelled the run.
We just had 3 days of unusually intense spring heat.
I wonder if that was the cause of the warped tracks we can see in that photo?
I doubt it. It usually takes HEAVY heat to do that. Reaching 90 isn’t it.
BTW, looking at that referenced photo - no, that’s pretty normal-looking. Anything that might be judged bad could be because of impact.
a) Many tracks just are not maintained/replaced well with highest-quality tracking (meaning the ballast, ties, etc). b) Many do not need perfection when they are just sidings and switches to another track.
