Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, speaking at the Museum of the Jewish Soldier in World War II at Latrun, said that Iran's nuclear weapon is the biggest challenge for his next government.
Netanyahu made the remarks in a speech during a Victory in Europe Day ceremony commemorating the Allies' World War II victory over Nazi Germany.
"The biggest challenge is Iran's attempt to arm itself with a nuclear weapon, and in parallel develop terror fronts for conquering areas of the Middle East, around our borders. We will meet this challenge. And we also know that not only are we threatened, but also others in our region. This creates common interests and also might create opportunities to promote alliances and maybe even promote peace," said Netanyahu.
President Reuven Rivlin was also in attendance, along with senior defense officials and World War II veterans.

Why doesn’t he order air strikes on Iran? I would not hesitate to kill the ones threatening me so why is he holding back? Iran if their leaders were still alive after the airstrikes would just continue with their terrorism BUT they would not have nuclear bombs.
Bibi is a hand wringer all talk.
You’re a fool.
.
>> “Why doesnt he order air strikes on Iran?” <<
.
Because your man obama promised to use the full military power of the US to prevent that.

Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt's Generals: 'How Does Your Conscience Feel Now?'Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt's military -- even as Cairo's security forces massacre anti-government activists. It’s at the limit of the range of their air force, Iran is only 4% smaller than Alaska, the targets are widely-spread-out, and more.
It’s an extraordinarily-complex problem.
Plus they have to fly through Jordan, Syria, Iraq (not much defense there now, of course) or route through Saudi Arabia, which they supposedly support.
The best they may be able to hope for is attacking missile sites.
Maybe so but Bibi is all hat and no cattle in any case. He has been telling us for six years that Iran is only a week away from a bomb yet Iran continues unimpeded by him or us. The time for action was before the current resident moved into the peoples house.
#4 That is coming across.
If we have history books after World war 3 it will reveal greedy traitorous politicians in the United States selling out their country.

>> “He has been telling us for six years that Iran is only a week away from a bomb yet Iran continues unimpeded by him or us.” <<
This may be your belief, but only out of ignorance.
Israel has been working minute by minute to dismantle Iran’s nuclear efforts.
Where do you think the bombings of their facilities came from? Where do you think “Stuxnet” came from?
Get a grip!
.
.
That about sums up Rand Paul’s antisemitism!
.
I find that when I get it into the thread before #21, the Paultardation doesn’t take hold of the topic. :’)
Will Iran be Nuclear or not? Likely they already are. They get stronger daily and we are certainly not attempting to stop them, likely are helping them and Bibi Bluster is just that.
.
It is clear that the US has done nothing to slow or halt Iran, but Israel has done much, including bombing many facilities spread around the country, and infesting their computers with a bug that destroyed hundreds of their centrifuges.
Israel lacks a large enough air force to fend off the entire US air force, and navy, and Netanyahu is well aware of this fact.
What exactly do you think he can do that he has not done?
.
You actually think Mossad has no info on Obama's secret past? Bibi had to know who he was and also known what was coming. If he was going to do anything he would have done it before Bush left the White House.
.
You are unaware of Bush’s antisemitism?
He too surrounded himself with Haters of Israel.
.
Nope I am aware. He moved the consulate to Jerusalem, the Capital of Israel, oh wait he only said he would.
To your point though, Bibi would have been far better off getting tough with GW at the helm than he would now. How would Israel be better off with Iran as a nuclear power? What was the USS Liberty really doing?
