"determines what you watch on television, what you read in newspapers, what you hear and radio, and even what you read on the Internet...."?
Oh yea sure.....all that and more
Matt Drudge tells me what to eat for breakfast..

Perfect example of how liberals think - namely, life is not worth living unless someone is telling you what to do.
To: MeshugeMikey
No, but he would be OK if you thought that.

Lol - does anyone read his site anymore? He’s not first in breaking stories
To: MeshugeMikey
Matt Drudge emails me a list of what to wear each day.

I wondered why you are always dressed like Michelle...
:)
To: HartleyMBaldwin
OH NO and here I thought that I was the only guy getting that sort of intimate personal fashion advice.

Every day I check Drudge right after the weather same routine for many years now, I don’t ever click links I just read through the headlines, and then spend the rest of my time on FR to get the rest of the story.

your comment would be appropriate - if Matt himself had said this, or claimed he should be.
His website is a monster factor whether you like it or not.
To: MeshugeMikey
It is good to know libs are taking guidance from Matt. While he is not the most effective leader in style, decor and everything pop, he is far superior to the M and O brigade.
Once they are thoroughly indoctrinated into the principles of free society they will be welcome at FR.

their slavish devotion to all manner of political correctness has alwayas been laughable but never so much as when they project their bizarre views in such a narrow fashion
sure we're all racessists and homophobes ...but we're not slaves to Master Drudge../s

What exactly does Drudge do but link to others' stories?
I hardly consider that "journalism".

The Drudge Report is the only news source I check regularly. I used to read several newspapers and watch a number of television news shows every day, but I found that the Drudge Report was all I needed other than occasional local news. I entrust Matt Drudge with filtering out all the media noise and providing a starting point to what is important. Although no one is perfect, he does that better than anyone.

Is he still around? I remember years ago clicking on his site and getting inundated by one ad after another and never going back.
To: MeshugeMikey
I can’t see how this can be true. Yes, I check his site daily but little changes from one view to the next. Occasionally, he breaks news but I don’t think as often as he used to. Why is the media obsessed with a headline aggregator?
