Mayor Bill de Blasio is feeling unappreciated.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone, he suggests that many of his accomplishments are being overlooked because of the day-to-day news cycle.
A lot of people outside New York City understand what happened in the first year of New York City better than people in New York City, de Blasio said.

Everybody hates Bill de Blasio.
On the Love Boat they say,
“Welcome aboard! Unless you’re Bill De Blasio. We hate that son-of-a-bitch. He should jump off the pier.”

I know it's a rag, but the editorials are VERY conservative, and I used to love reading them on the Train back in the day!!
Even had an editorial published once, titled “a citizen gets a load off his chest. You FReepers would have loved it :)
BTW, his father was NOT Italian. My Grandfather WAS Italian and emigrated. We don't want him denigrating our ancestry!! he is Kaiser Wilhelm and was pandering to ethnic whites when he changed the name!! As if we would have him. So his wife is a black lesbian and he is embarrassed of his German roots while playing up his Italian roots. He ate pizza with a fork!!! on staten island. Maybe they do that in Italy. This is not Italy. We are Americans of Italian descent, NOT Italians and we use our hands to eat it. In fact, my grandparents WERE from Italy and Sicily and even though I was young, I NEVER saw a fork used lol

He should! He’s a bum.
A self-pitying incompetent who gets booed viciously at ballgames. So bad, he refuses to show up. Pansy! Like Guiliani and Dinkins and Koch didn’t get booed at times?!
He’s so incompetent that he’ll probably be our next Veep if Warren gets the nomination.

The Post is NO rag. It’s a tabloid and that’s different. It has a very good business section that speaks to ordinary people unlike the WSJ. It’s art section is good and unpretentious and its food section is excellent. Let’s get over our snobbery.

No doubt liberals outside the city appreciate him better because they don’t have to pay the taxes or put up with the problems.

rofl. He doesn't KNOW what Italian food is. My mom made homemade Siclican Pizza and Cavatelli, and Ravioli and it took hours to make meatballs because you grated loaves of JUST RIGHT stale Italian bread for bread crumbs!!!!

I never thought about he recipes :)
If you want, I will be GLAD to have her write out what she used and how much etc :)
Send me a private if you want so I remember
:)
God the pizza and Cavatelli were SO good. The meatballs incredible and she made something with eggs and breadcrumbs and a few other things, I forget what the dish was called. It was ridiculous!!!!
Growing up in a big Italian family was so fun!!!! I still remember uncle Ralph (God rest his soul) getting drunk and dancing on the table lol.

I agree Madame. I’ve been reading The New York Post for years. It’s , as far as I know the only paper founded by one of The Founding Fathers, Alexander Hamilton, that’s still being published. Has anyone ever wondered why the Post and for that matter the more Left-leaning Daily News are in tablet form as opposed to the shape of The NY Times and The Wall Street Journal? As I heard it when I worked in NYC it was the ‘’straphangers’’, the common folk who rode the buses and subways could read it standing up, folding one page easily behind the other or not crowding it over on the person sitting next them. Where as the Times and WSJ were for the chauffeur-driven Wall St. crowd. How are you miss marmelstein? Spring days like this a delightful in The City.

If Bill de Blasio isn't being indicted, tried, convicted, and sentenced for giving aid and comfort to the enemy, he is being overappreciated.
To: Carl Vehse
To be sure. But that doesn’t mean he stops governing by crisis, even if he has to make up an imaginary one via failed cult of personality.
