Vatican blasts Muhammad cartoons as pouring ‘gasoline on the fire’

The Vatican’s semiofficial newspaper blasted a series of cartoons of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad as “blasphemous” but also condemned the “mad and bloodthirsty” extremists who opened fire at a Texas exhibit of the cartoons.

The front-page article in L’Osservatore Romano likened the exhibit in Garland, Texas, to pouring “gasoline on the fire” of religious sensitivities and was critical of its sponsors, the American Freedom Defense Initiative, and professional provocateur Pamela Geller.

Police on Sunday (May 3) shot and killed two gunmen who opened fire outside the exhibit that was designed to provoke Muslim sensitivities; the so-called Islamic State has since claimed responsibility for the attack that injured a security guard, and promised more to come.

*snip*

After the Charlie Hebdo attacks, Pope Francis condemned the idea of killing “in God’s name” but warned that “you cannot provoke, you cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others.”

I think using cartoons to draw these scum into a fire zone is a superb idea. Make them huge, offensive and advertise the hell out of them.

Then invite some former SEALs and Marines. I’m sure most would do it for free

Why not just give them all jobs? You could have all the gold, jewels, art, and other wealth sequestered by your church over the centuries auctioned off to pay for it.

You're still too much of a coward to say what you mean.

What do you want with Mehmet Ali Acga?

Hmmmm?

We all know he's a moslem hired by communists to assassinate Pope John Paul II.

He failed.

Just like you have failed to be honest about your intentions.

Coward.

Out with it! Speak up, boy!

Well, it would seem that the current Pope is seeming to suggest that Pope John Paul had it coming yes?

Little boy, you’re the one who piped up on this thread looking for a communist, moslem, failed assassin.

Do you have the courage, or the common decency, to plainly say what you want that communist, moslem, failed assassin for?

Hmmm?

Or are you just going to keep on playing with yourself?

Last chance, boy.

We have an endless supply of moral and physical cowards in the world, that is all I can conclude. We know we can say what we want but we better not they might get mad and kill us and we don’t want to make them angry. Once they get all unauthorized speech about islam banned, next up the islamonazi’s will press their demands shariah supersede the Constitution and the cowards will comply.

Francis needs to keep his mouth shut from stirring the fire....clean out his own backyard before he tells the rest of the world what is right and wrong.

Blasphemy is defined as "the act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things"

What exactly about a murdering pedophile does the pope find sacred?

You’re one to talk of common decency.

Sure, real slow this time for idiots like yourself.

If Texans poured gasoline on the fire by being Americans then John Paul must be somehow guilty of the same blasphemous provocations according to this Chavista regime in the Vatican.

Yeah ...

'cause any church with an official Liturgy for Blessing a Same-Sex Relationship is just completely corrupt, and needs to Shut Up.

Well, there it is. Despite numerous requests, numerous opportunities to explain your intentions, you refuse.

That tells me everything I need to know about your complete lack of character, honesty, integrity, or courage.

Good bye.

By this measure, living a gay lifestyle is certainly pouring gas on the fire, on a national scale. Should we start ostracizing gays because they offend Muslims?

Tell him the truth....

Mohammed will bow his knee and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father!!!!!

Philippians 2:10

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

as long as the Catholic Church in America or elsewhere isn’t even concerned about their having practicing homosexuals in the clergy...they have NOTHING to say.... whatsoever!
