The American Federation of Teachers and six other organizations are hosting a conference at Georgetown University this weekend entitled In Defense of the Public Square.
As attacks on the public sector and its workers increase, economic inequality widens and an avalanche of money in the political system undermines fairness, the ideal of a public square is itself under assault, a press release the union sent to The Daily Caller explained.

In an argument with a Lib on political donations he stated that Union contributions are excluded because unions are for the workers.
I’m sure they are a little sensitive after Gov Scott Walker(WI) kicked their A**es three times and drained their coffers.
Teachers unions are the scourge of our educational system, right up there with the enforced liberal curriculum.

Bullcrap. There is no such thing as economic inequality. Everyone has the same opportunity to participate in the economy and are therefore equals. What is not "equal" are the skills, education, determination, dedication and honesty of individuals which leads to lesser economic achievement than others.
I repeat, there is not economic inequality here in the US, there is only underachieving or ill-prepared individuals that fail to meet their desired economic achievement.
