Alan McCullough is a bully, an animal, a sadist. Stalin would have loved him, Hitler would have loved him, and I have little doubt he would have loved them.
The victims in this case are making a profound mistake by remaining in the area. They and their children can no more survive in this place than could Jews in Germany, for much the same reason. But there is a lethal rigidity of thought that “we cannot leave, because this is our home.”
Certainly the villains responsible for their torment would dance with glee at their departure, but once they are free of the place, these victims may speak their mind, persuade others, and get support denied them now.
And truthfully, the best revenge is success.
While the tyrants are at first cheery at the thought that they have filled others with fear, this fleeting victory will soon be lost, because others will see them for what they truly are, and work to deny them power and influence.
Even now, who in the entire state can trust a homosexual or other deviant, knowing that they are not honorable or just people? That they are fickle, duplicitous, and treacherous.
A parallel example that rarely gets national coverage: If a religious school declines admission to children of homosexuals or children who identify as homosexual or transgendered, they are smeared in the media, see death threats, personal threats to administrators, etc.
Texas school rejects 4-year-old over lesbian parents

In this case, I personally know the school had to up security in light of death threats against the administrator, teachers, etc. All because they don’t want the child to hear traditional teachings at mass and in class and go home crying to Mommy and Mommy that they are sinners, and they don’t want to change the teachings.
Instead of being respected for, “we want to teach our kids our way and avoid conflict, so it is just us”, the media portrays it as “evil Christians” - while the other side then threatens to burn down a school full of children, in the name of peace, love and tolerance.
Per the Supreme Court debates last week, the government has said, yes, it would be able to revoke non-profit status from schools like St. Vincent’s and others like these.

So a side that will threaten to kill Christians who decline to admit someone living in contrary nature to their views consider the other side intolerant. And if they can’t sue you into bankruptcy or threaten violence until you shut up or change, they see the right to undercut your finances.
Fr. Z had a good suggestion.
Tell the perverts that you will bake the cake with the price being inflated.
Then tell them that all the money they paid for their cake will be donated to traditional marriage organizations and tell them that you will put their names down as the donors.
Hopefully they will walk out the door.

No, they will only be happy when they are dead. But even that won’t be satisfactory enough.
all of which means the bakery should move to South Carolina or maybe Tennessee or some other nonbigoted state.
