A former crony of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie pleaded guilty Friday in the Bridgegate scandal and is willing to testify that the fading GOP star knew about crippling lane closures as they were happening, his lawyer said afterward.

There’s no “old news” when it comes to Republicans.
Democrat “old news” is “old news.”
Republican “old news” is “lingering questions.”
” is willing to testify that the fading GOP star knew about crippling lane closures as they were happening, “
Yeah, I imagine that everyone in NJ knew about it....LOL
I hate Fatboy, but c’mon : )
That is wrong in so many ways...
How much infrastructure was closed during Obama’s government shutdown temper tantrum?
supposedly osmeoen just came out and ‘confessed’ that he ordered the closures as payback for something, and Christy didn’t know about it-
we will NEVER get the truth out of this deal-
So uh....when does Abedin come clean about Hildebeest?
Oh right...when Rats do it, it’s “regrettable”.
When ‘Pubs do it, it’s “Outrageous!!”
I don’t see a downside to this.
Fat Basta$d should get what’s coming to him.
I hope they posted tsunami warning along the Jersey Shore..............
“President Obama, can you bail me out, for old times’ sake?”
True..but the silver lining is this may take him out of the race for good. He is a gun grabbing turd.
Didn’t someone die waiting for an ambulance during that traffic jam?..................
I think it will take more than testimony, does the dude have any evidence?
Seems like I recall hearing about a story like that too.
“Wildstein was ready to rebut under oath Christies claims that everything he knew about the September 2013 traffic jams came from news reports.”
Only Obama is allowed to get away with that defense.
Cant do it, Sally.
Despotism is despotism and every incident should be punished.
That's the thing that makes pathetic little (well, not so little) despots like Christie dangerous: yes, in the grand scheme of things, this is a "silly little scandal," but to the people who were affected, it was a big deal. I grew up within a mile or so of the GWB. It's not so far off to say that, in that area, all roads lead to the GWB. When you mess around with closing local access lanes, etc., you basically shut the whole town down. People couldn't get to work. Kids couldn't get to school. Ambulances couldn't get to patients or to the hospital. Police and Fire couldn't respond to calls.
A big deal. But, to Christie (or, at the very least, to his close allies), it was the equivalent of a high school prank to get back at a mayor who didn't endorse him in his (landslide) re-election campaign.
