A prisoner sharing a police transport van with Freddie Gray told investigators that he could hear Gray “banging against the walls” of the vehicle and believed that he “was intentionally trying to injure himself,” according to an investigative document obtained by The Washington Post.
The prisoner, who is currently in jail, was separated from Gray by a metal partition and could not see him. His statement is contained in an application for a search warrant, which is sealed by the court. The Post was given the document under the condition that the prisoner not be named because the person who provided it feared for the inmate’s safety.
The document, written by a Baltimore police investigator, offers the first glimpse of what might have happened inside the van. It is not clear whether any additional evidence backs up the prisoner’s version.

He resented his arrest, and decided to turn lemons into lemonaid —squeezed those lemons a bit too hard.

Once arrested, it is the states responsibility to ensure the prisoners safety.

He had a neck injury and surgery as a result of an auto accident ? some sort of stuff should and likely will show in in tox tests.
There’s a reasonable standard as to what that care might entail. not sure if yur flopping like a fish is covered.. seat belt or not.
Personal Injury lawyers are salivating at the chance to represent..
If it were found that Gray was entirely 100% at fault for his death the riots will begin anew ....

Apparently the city of Baltimore has paid out millions to victims of so-called “rough rides.” Is it possible that little Freddy thought he could cash in by injuring himself and then suing the city? Could he even have been advised to do this by his scummy lawyer?
