Obamas just like Reagan Except when he isnt.
Trickle Down Economics versus Trickle Down Socialism
Ronald Reagans economic plan saw GDP surge at a 3.5% clip 4.9% after the recession. Thats a 32% bump.
During the Obama years, thanks to his big government policies, the US economy has stalled. Today the quarterly GDP was announced. The GDP for the first quarter of 2015 braked more sharply than expected at only a .2% pace. The US economy has grown an anemic 9.6% during the Obama years (excluding todays dismal number).
Of course, Obamas record on job growth is also much worse than President Reagans record.

So thankful I grew up in that decade.
Thanks, that went to my desktop. Love it.
I was a kid so I don’t remember much but bring back the ‘90s!
That’s why I am a Super Genius!! I said weeks ago for Cruz to get a copy of the NY Times help wanted from the 80’s when it took 10 minutes to get three offers in NYC!! I was there. I remember. Even a shmo like me was getting monetary offers I couldn’t believe. I thought they were talking to someone else lol. He should hold it out during the debate. golden days
The 80s were better for this kid than the 90s...good music, good tv, good president, good dance moves
The 80s weren’t so bad. Started out kind of rough, but ended well.
‘90s, you got saved by the bell and Seinfeld
If the Obama administration admits to a .2% economic growth rate it is likely that the real growth rate is a minus 5% or worse.
Be happy you missed Jimmy Carter’s destruction of the economy and the nation in the 70s. There was one good thing about that era, though; watching Ted Kennedy eviscerate Carter when he tried to take the nomination from him in 1980. :-)
I want my beautiful wife, Morgan Fairchild, back in my life....yeahhhhh, that’s the ticket...
“It’s the economy stupid” is a good slogan for Dims trying to pry natural GOP voters away from the GOP. Those people care about the economy and jobs.
The Dim base does not care about the economy or jobs nearly as much. That was part of Romney’s mistake. He was trying to impress people who don’t care about the economy as much by claiming he would be better for the economy. Had he focused more on the $700 billion reduction of medicare spending he might have had better luck prying Dim voters away from Obama. Voters who care about government benefits would be more likely to react to that then a claim of making the economy better.
90s, you got saved by the bell and Seinfeld
like I said the 80s were so much better...there were movies for teens, there were cartoons for kids on Saturday AND Monday thru Friday, the Facts of Life...
9.6% growth, what kind of misprint is that???
That IS a good idea.
50 pages of thousands and thousands of good jobs!! and I’m an idiot lol. I hope his crew are working on stuff like this.
I was just a wee one during Carter so I don’t remember him. I do (barely) remember the Blizzard of ‘78 because it was so ridiculously overwhelming I can actually recall a bit of that.
