Did she tell his father about it?
I commend her for standing up for right and wrong,
but a father in the house could have prevented the situation in the first place.
This was in a movie. She pulls him out of the march — but he rolls his drum out a window and then climbs a tree down to rejoin his friends.
One of the boys in blue catches him though and he gets a spanking.
He certainly needed a whump upside the head. But, I bet it’s not the first time she’s hit him, either. Hope he listens to Mom.
It’s how that populace raises their children. The smack em and beat em down with insults from the age they can crawl. While many are praising the mom, people forget where they learn the emotional reaction to conflict in violence.
If it was at 3, then she compounded the problem because the kids use that to get home.

That’s not a beating. Those are love taps. She cares about his future
LOL. I love it. For the rest of his life they dude will be “the guy whose mom beat him up in front of his friends on youtube” Can you say, “FAIL”?
Mom got some bedunka dunk.
I have no doubt that while mom is working two jobs junior learned his wears at the local public school form all the other fatherless hoodlums. Mom cannot be every where when dad is gone chasing tail somewhere else.
No she didn’t beat him...she just slapped ‘em up the side of the face several times til it sunk in ....she swore at him too....both of which he more than likely gets more of both from the kids he hangs with...so it’s no problem.
I remember once asking my son why he never even thought about raising his hand to us.....he laughed and said...”because you put enough of the fear of God in us ‘we didn’t dare’ to!”
These kids on the streets have no fear of authority because the parents aren’t being authorative.... except of the police....that’s why they’re fighting them so...they are accustomed to ruling in their homes without any authority.
Anybody see the old guy in a Viet Nam vet jacket on CNN last night...Robert Valentine...standing between a line of cops and some of the feral yutes? He was shooing the rioters away...and they eventually left. The cnn on-scene guy asked him “Who are you?”. The old man says. “I’m a soldier...spent 30 years in the military...these kids are disrespecting the death of Freddie Gray.” Heck of a man.
Sometimes, you have to look past the central focus point of a picture. That lil prince of the urban jungle has nothing, zero, zip ,nada in his hands and his back pack looks empty or darn near. My guess Baby-momma is stressing to him the importance of Nikes or new tee shirts and big screen TVs that are just laying there for the taking.
I saw that. If I had been walking by, I would have been honored to shake his hand.
I sure am. What would you do if you found out a child of yours had joined anarchists in a riot? Not every child in challenged neighborhoods is raised to be a thug. That whoop on the head didn't do the lad any harm.
Frankly,
I think everyone should get home something nice for mother’s day.
I for one nominate this woman for Mother of the Year!
