Baltimore police say one of the fire department's hoses has been cut by rioters as firefighters are attempting to put out the fire at the CVS store.
6:35 p.m.
President Barack Obama has spoken with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake about the ongoing rioting situation in Baltimore. President will "provide assistance as needed."
6:32 p.m.
Firefighters are responding to a CVS store on Pennsylvania Avenue and North Avenue after smoke is seen coming from inside the store. It is the same store looting was seen earlier in the day.

Attorney: Freddie Gray's family "in shock" watching the violence in Baltimore and are urging calm.

After consulting with police, the Baltimore Orioles have postponed their game against the Chicago White Sox scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Monday.

Problem is, it’ll burn much of the rest of America with it.
Sort of like the MOVE fiasco in Philly back in the 80s; the cops dropped an incendiary charge on the roof of the left-wing MOVE compound on Osage Avenue after they shot a killed a cop and wounded others; the resultant fire wound up burning down four city blocks of houses... houses belonging to people who had NOTHING to do with the MOVE freak show.
Fire consumes all, and once it’s out of control, it just ... burns all it touches.
WTF...I remember the riots in 68 and parts of Hartford is still empty. Until recently a full-scale supermarket (part of a new ballpark project) never came in the north end. The new supermarket is closer to downtown then the north end.

Viewing a few news videos will show that police were avoiding locations where crimes were being committed. Officials in Maryland don’t want them getting hurt. So they’ll keep the armed police away from trouble and send in disarmed National Guard soldiers. Far less expensive and bothersome to subject the low ranking peasantry to it.
