The New York Times reported this week on the unseemly transfer of cash from parties interested in a major uranium deal to the Clintons. The Canadian company selling Uranium One to the Russians donated $2.35 million to the Clinton Foundation. And Russians tied to the deal gave Bill Clinton $500,000 for a Moscow speech.
The deal had global consequences. It would put one fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States under Russian control. So critical was the deal that it needed the approval of the U.S. State Department. State approved the deal, and it managed to so without fanfare. Hillary had failed to disclose the Canadian donors to Obama’s White House – this despite her presumed agreement to do just that.
As outrageous as this deal sounds, however, it was not the Clintons’ most egregious adventure in mining skulduggery. That adventure climaxed nearly twenty years ago – September 18, 1996, to be precise – when then President Bill Clinton unilaterally transformed a 1.7-million-acre slice of southern Utah into a new national monument.

I remember.
Not long ago I was seeking Department of State approval for an ITAR proposal to Australia. We were proposing in part a system produced by British Aerospace. But because the US Navy uses the same system, even though it is British technology we needed State Department approval. This should have been a no-brainer. But the company hadn’t received permission to even include pictures in the proposal by the time I’d finished my work and moved on. Approval is notably slow. Had we realized we could have slipped Bill a few thousand to hurry things along I’d have suggested it. (Tongue in cheek.)

The Oil for Food Program was dreamed up by Marc Rich and it was nothing more than a no loose insider trading scheme for oil futures.
The $65 billion everyone was worried about was nothing more than chump change and a cost of doing business.
I couldn’t help think of what Barry Hussein Soetoro told Putin before Barry’s second term, I don’t remember his exact words but he said wait until my next election. I’m sure this deal was part of it and he told Hitlory to sign it in.
This deal with the Russkies controlling 20% of our uranium is not acceptable. Somebody likely the next President has got to put that right. The Russians will need to divest themselves of their stock in that controlling company.
Same old Clintons then - same old corrupt Clintons now... Seems the press might 'wake up' because they want someone MORE liberal than Hillary to run. The New York Times is NOT to be trusted...
