An Islamic extremist with an arsenal of loaded guns was only prevented from opening fire on Sunday morning churchgoers because he accidentally shot himself, French officials said.
The 24-year-old computer science student, who was also suspected in the death of a young woman whose body was found on Sunday just ahead of his arrest, had been flagged as a risk last year and earlier this year but there was no specific reason to open a judicial investigation, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said Wednesday.

This story is flawed in so many ways. Everyone knows guns are illegal in France so it didn’t happen.

It’s a religion of peace. A few radicals causing trouble. No religion condones violence. Remember the crusades and the inquisition? We are no better. They are Random acts of violence.
I need to mention this is sarcasm because I have been attacked a few times when people didn’t realize it.

i knew this would start happening eventually. It’s been going on in the middle east and Pakistan etc. for years.
looks like France’s “strict” gun control laws didn’t get it done on this one either.
