What's the big deal about having slaveholder blood? Spike Lee was profiled on another ancestry show called "Who Do You Think You Are" and discovered his four or five times great grandfather was not only a slave owner but a slave trader.
Emmitt Smith of The Dallas Cowboys also descends from a slave owner.
Neither one of them tried to keep that from the viewer.
