The chief spokesman for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Alex Conant, confirmed to Breitbart News in an on-record interview on Sunday that despite some initial confusion over the past couple days about the wording of two separate English language transcripts of Rubio’s Spanish language interview with Univision’s Jorge Ramos that aired this weekend, the thrust and meaning of what Rubio said was captured accurately by both transcripts—each of which shows just minor differences in wording, but not in meaning.

The offset is MUCH, MUCH, worse. Probably closer to 5 to 1. We’re talking very few people supporting him just due to Amnesty and huge numbers of conservatives, yet again, sitting things out, and just as many other nominal Republicans voting Democrats, since there wouldn’t be much difference between the parties...and the Democrats HAND OUT GOODIES.

The other option is what happened in Texas and throughout the South in 2014, when Republicans ran hard on border security and the “invasion” from the South. Their worst numbers were in Texas, where Republicans ‘only’ won 75% of the white vote and ‘only’ 45% of the Hispanic vote. They did better in other states, hitting 89% of whites in Alabama. Even with the large numbers of blacks throughout the South and the HUGE NUMBERS of Hispanics in states like Texas and New Mexico, the Democrats down here still have NO IDEA what hit them.

Republicans - follow my advice, fight for the WHITE VOTE, give them SOMETHING TO VOTE FOR, rather than just hoping they will hold their nose and vote against Hillary (hint, that never works).

...but it does seem like I’m talking to a brick wall on this, as if Texas and the rest of the South never even voted in 2014.

You are, of course, welcome to your own opinion; however, Marco isn't as as an "attractive" candidate as you suppose he is to many. And his flip flopping, saying one thing in English and another in Spanish doesn't help him any. Throw in the fact that the Bush team is now going after him, tooth and nail, and they just may take each other out....sooner rather than later.

But yes time will tell.

I see no evidence of Jeb and Marco going at it "tooth and nail", rather there's some mild criticism.

To the average voter that doesn't know much, he's telegenic, speaks well, and worst of all fakes sincerity the best of any candidate.

Unlike you, I this isn't the only site I read and I have a REAL LIFE, in which I speak with many who either don't post nor read any site such as this one, yet they do know all about Rubio's flip flops, lies, and can't stand him...won't vote for him in the primaries, nor in the general. They do pay attention to the news, some read the net for it, and some Tea Parties have news letters for their members.
