Anthony Weiner — yes, that Anthony Weiner — talked to Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter Sunday morning about Hillary Clinton’s road trip to Iowa in the now infamous Scooby van, which he said bespoke of the unexpected in comparison GOP’s candidate’s staged events, and said the media was focusing on arcane or frivolous details that mattered only to the insider types, not to voters.
If you’re thinking, “Wait, Anthony Weiner’s a media critic now?” you’re not alone. You may also be thinking: isn’t Huma Abedin, Weiner’s long-suffering wife, also Hillary Clinton’s long-suffering aide, and wasn’t she actually in said Scooby van during the trip?
The answer to both is yes. Weiner swore that he and Abedin pointedly did not discuss the campaign, and that she might not even know he was on CNN talking about it. (Why was he on CNN talking about it?)

I’ll bet Anthony Weiner has a most elaborate plan of revenge to all those who sneered and laughed him out of the Mayoral race a few years back. He has forgotten nothing, and spends his days reviewing the trainwreck that was his campaign. As far as Weiner is concerned, ‘they stole his Mayoral win from him! He felt entitled, and by Golly, he still does. A politician as clever as Rand Paul may find (behind the scenes) a way to use Anthony’s ambition to steamroll a couple of disloyal Dem careers. “I will train that creepy scorpion to sting on my command!”
