Why satire not scandal could derail Hillary Clinton's campaign

Republicans are the usual targets for caricature on popular US comedy show Saturday Night Live (remember Tina Fey as Sarah Palin?). But comedienne Kate McKinnon's impersonation of Hillary Clinton last week gave Fey a run for her money.

On the eve of Clinton's announcement, one biting SNL skit imagined what Mrs Clinton's announcement video might sound like. "Citizens, you will elect me," McKinnon barked. "I will be your leader!" The satirical message was simple: Hillary Clinton believes she is entitled to the presidency.

Her portrayal of Hillary was frighteningly accurate as to what impression I generally have when listening to Hillary speak. All the quirky intonations, the terse and recorded schpiel, the jerky head motions were there.

I’m sure NBC/SNL has been “asked” to stop the Hillary satire. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the ruling class, NBC will stand down. One dead horse in Lorne Michael’s bed is all it takes.

NBC is serving two
‘masters’ now (The Obama Gang and the Clinton Connection), one more thoroughly than the other.

Why Cruz's debating skills will beat the pantsuit off the HillHag:

From Wikipedia:

Cruz graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy[30] from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in 1992.[4][6] While at Princeton, he competed for the American Whig-Cliosophic Society's Debate Panel and won the top speaker award at both the 1992 U.S. National Debating Championship and the 1992 North American Debating Championship.[31] In 1992, he was named U.S. National Speaker of the Year, as well as Team of the Year, with his debate partner, David Panton.[31] Cruz was a semi-finalist at the 1995 World Universities Debating Championship, making him Princeton’s highest-ranked debater at the championship.[32][33] Princeton's debate team later named their annual novice championship after Cruz.[32]

Let me add that every one of our Founder Fathers who graduated from college were all expert debaters.

Boy, Hillary is sure spending a lot of money on you guys, you're flooding every FR Hillary thread.

Of course you have to take three showers after work just so your dog won't attack you when you get home.

Because she has no shame and less accountability, mockery is the only thing that will work

I do not think HRC would take the risk of subjecting herself to a debate, unless she had the entire thing rigged beforehand so she answered only scripted questions with scripted answers.

Anything that reveals her true nature is something she must avoid at all costs if she is to keep her dream alive.

I see the media reluctance as something where they know her. Do they really want to be subject to her, again? I bet if you asked them all, after sharing a stiff drink with them, they would admit that they are exhausted with her.
