Hollywood manipulation of the masses has been going on for decades. You only have to look at the dreck offered to see what Hollywood wants.........Madame Secretary (Helloooo, Hillary!) or Veep? I keep praying for the home environment to be stronger than the TV indoctrination. I will keep doing that and hoping that logic and intelligence/common sense prevails.
I wouldn’t watch Madame Secretary if there were a knife put to my throat. I Finally decided to watch Star Trek Into Darkness even though something told me it would be left wing drivel. Tuned it off soon after Scotty cried about the Enterprise being used as a warship, etc. etc.
Most of Hollywood is a bunch of remakes. They ran out of ideas, or can’t figure out how to market some ones that while unoriginal, need some spin. Even when I watched Korra, the show was cheaper than dirt (no offense to the guns and ammo mag) but the main character had about no challenges, it was teaching entitlement to children.
