Public school officials in South Bend, Ind. are segregating elementary schools students by race and ferrying black students — and only black students — on visits to local colleges.
The students facing racial segregation in America in the year 2015 are third graders at seven elementary schools, reports local ABC affiliate WBND.
School district officials say they do not intend for the taxpayer-funded reenactment of Jim Crow-era race racial segregation to be discriminatory. Instead, they say, the intent is to inform black students about college because low numbers of black students attend college.

Third grade field trips are supposed to me to some museum. A college tour in third grade is insanely stupid no matter who you take.

Disgustingly racist. The bigot school employees should be fired immediately because of what they did and the sickening discriminatory example they are providing the school children. (Ps: kids in south bend hardly need special trips to colleges — there are a half dozen colleges right there in town and they ain’t in hiding — the kids would be much better served with just getting good schooling so they can read and write their college applications when they get there)
A school teacher who wanted to follow the example of Martin Luther King, Jr., would not have excluded any student from these field trips and his quote would have read something like this: "We take them to a college campus, have them meet African-American students, modeling the idea that as a black person, college is a great place"

As there is no such thing as reverse-racism it follows there is no such thing as reverse-discrimination.
