USA Today can't be linked - So, I've provided the link to the Suffolk website (hope that's ok with FR)- In short, 1000 adults, with the following results-
"In an open-ended question to Republican voters, 9 percent named Scott Walker followed by Jeb Bush (8 percent), Ted Cruz (7 percent), Rand Paul (5 percent), Ben Carson (4 percent), Marco Rubio (2 percent), while eight other possible candidates received 1 percent or less."
>> Democrats wish for a race
It’s all about race with the ‘rats, isn’t it. Always.
I would like as many Rs in the race for as long as possible with one mission and one mission only — Attack Hillary (or whatever turd they dig up to run against her), but not each other...Hillary.
All voices all the time bombarding the air waves with how bad the obamaeconomy is and how people are suffering and it’s her/his fault....hammer, hammer, hammer.
The first R that needlessly attacks another R gets taken to the woodshed and pummeled for an hour until they admit the error of their ways.
Let the rats come up with their own ammunition, we damn sure don’t have to help them.
Thanks Big ED- I’m decent on news- bad at posting.
Wish for a race? democraps are servile scum to their commissar masters. They serve up Hillary like the nomenklatura served up the likes of Breshnev as the one candidate they get to vote for.
I’m starting to think the Chicago Mob is taking a pass on 2016.
I really thought they would roll out Warren.
The problem is that Hillary then runs like an incumbent, doesn’t have to spend any dough on the primaries.
Someone is going to get in, I have to believe...although I think Hillary would make mince meat of anyone but Warren. Warren is not great, but she’d get the nutty vote that would carry her for awhile. If I were to guess someone, I’d say O’Malley.
If Warren got the backing and resources of the Chicago Mob, she would defeat Clinton just like Obama did.
There was an unannounced (but reported by the WSJ) meeting between the Clintons and the Mob at the WH about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I’m wondering if Hillary negotiated a stand off agreement for 2016.
In 2012, we had the following who were running for President on the GOP side (if memory serves me right):
1. Mitt Romney
2. Newt Gingrich
3. Rick Santorum
4. Michelle Bachmann
5. Herman Cain
6. Tim Pawlenty
7. Ron Paul
8. Rick Perry
9. Jon Huntsman
10. Gary Johnson
11. Thaddeus McCotter
So far, we have three who have declared for the GOP in 2016. My feeling is next year, we will see the following having declared their candidacy:
1. Ted Cruz
2. Rand Paul
3. Marco Rubio
4. Jeb Bush
5. John Kasich
6. Rick Perry (again )
7. Lindsay Graham
8. Ben Carson
9. Chris Christie
10. Bobby Jindal
11 Rick Santorum ( again )
12 Carly Fiorina
Go, Cruz, GO!!!
There is one page that shows which news outlet people trust most vs a bunch of different cross tabs. Party, Gender, etc... Page 33
There are no democrats to race against her because they know the she would ruin their career.
Ever politician knows that a go against Hillary’s empire would mean every skeleton in their closet would be found by Hillary’s team and probably by the Hillary-loving media as well. She would use all her power to completely destroy their career.
And since there are no squeaky clean democrats.....
Except that the Chicago Mob has a trump card on the Clintons and used it to elect Baraq.
I figured they would just roll out a new Baraq 2.0 like Fauxcahontas.
Fred Thompson was in for a short while, wasn’t he?
Good catch.
RE: Fred Thompson was in for a short while, wasnt he?
I believe that was in 2008...
Sheeesh, How could I have missed Scott Walker! That makes 13 potential candidates on the GOP side.
