I have a strong feeling that Cruz’ Christian testimony will reverberate strongly with Latinos. His father is already stumping for him all over talk radio.
Frankly, the only “latino” concern I really have about any candidate for President is how they intend to deal with the illegals in this country and those still coming here, a preponderance of whom are Hispanic (that Latino we hear so much about).
I look at Cruz and there is nothing in my mind about his heritage I see. Even when I look at Rubio, my mind doesn’t settle on his origin, but on what he’s said about Amnesty and immigration reform.
He probably meant Castro and Warren. She is 1/64th latino you know.

It’s a RINO’s way of meaning amnesty/citizenship for illegals without saying it.
The question I want Cruz to answer is , “Would you support the deportation of illegals on a massive scale using excessed IRS employees to process those deportations?”
Cruz has said we need to enforce the laws on the books, well that’s the law and we wouldn’t be in this mess if it had been enforced alla along.
Don’t get me wrong. I want them the eff out of my country. That said, it would be a disaster in trying to round them all up and ship them home involuntarily. This country would devolve into a sh!thole of unbridled proportions with every victim, every liberal and socialist group (media included) nipping at our heels and stabbing our backs any way they could.
The way to do it is to STOP in the influx with a fence like no other. Enforcement and subsequent action for new detainees swift and final. Make the penalties for those that hire them drastic and long lasting. Make it very expensive for them, from the homeowner to the megacorporation boards. Lastly, ensure that no current or even future illegal is able to receive anything for nothing. No entitlements, no WICS, no SNAP, EITC or Section 8. Make them realize they won’t get anywhere here.
Sounds like Cruz is your guy. I’m not so sure that a large number of deportations is not in orderm, starting with those who have been arrested for crime. For one thing, it would show them that we mean business and would slow those trying to come in. Cruz has said he would take every measure to seal the border completely. He has also said he will enforce the law. I believe him.
Yes he is and has been. I’d love to see any unassailable avenue to get these people out of this country. Felons - robbers, rapists, murderers et al should be a target and focus first. Good call. Alas, though, the final result will be a long haul.
