I've never seen anything like it.
The first two guys should be shot, the rest went “Herd” and should be fired...
You left the part where the horse kicked the deputy.
1) This is paid administrative leave.
2) None of these "police" will ever be individually liable.
3) No restitution will be made to the victim's family.
4) If any are fired, they will go back to work as a cop in another town, to use the power of the State to beat down other citizens, or kill them.
As there is no mention, I assume he man is white. Which is a good thing. Shows that cops can be equal opportunity monsters.
Lets see here. That equals 58 times the guy had to be told to "QUIT RESISTING!" Gee. Ya think he would have listened the first few dozen times he was gettin' an azz-beatin'.
“Pusok fled from deputies in a car, then on foot, deputies said. He later stole a horse, according to authorities, before being arrested in steep, rugged terrain by officers who had been dropped in by helicopter.”
Always remember- If the police have to come and get you they’re bringing an asswhooping with them.
Court records show Pusok has an extensive criminal history. Since 2006, Pusok has been sentenced to San Bernardino County jails for attempted robbery, fighting and misdemeanor obstructing an officer, court records show. His most serious offense came for a Nov. 25, 2013 incident in which he was convicted of misdemeanor animal cruelty and resisting an executive officer. He was sentenced to 233 days in jail and five years probation.
In that 2013 case, charges including threatening a school employee, willful cruelty to a child, vandalism, making a criminal threat and being a felon in possession of a firearm were dropped as part of a plea agreement, according to court records.
He later failed to comply with the requirements to attend a 12-hour anger management course.
Fine upstanding citizens shouldn’t be subjected to this abuse. /s
IBTJBT?
Review Taser policies huh?
Golly.
.
Are marshmallow guns acceptable?
Although I agree that those ten deputies should be drawn, quartered, burned at the stake and their ashes scattered, intellectual curiosity and the lifelong desire to learn compels me to wonder just what occurred for the prior ten minutes. Not that it might be extenuating, or anything.
.
Isn’t violent reaction to “disrespect” now a Constitutional civil right?
What the heck is going on with cops today ?
Besides, you know what they did to horse thieves about 150 years ago........Just saying.
Ping
In before the “You don’t know what happend before the beating” lickers.
Also in before the “They are just a bunch of great guys, of course there’s gonna be a bad one here and there.”
Thugs, every one of them.
WOW. The guy has to be drunk, the way he falls of the horse.
He immediately complies with every order, and they still have at him.
Side note. I’ve been on several ride-alongs with LA County Sheriffs. Their general attitude was really crappy. I always attributed it to the fact they all had to work county jail right out of the academy, but maybe their A-holes even without doing that county hitch.
6-minute video.

And at the time the perp was down and cuffed, they continued even though there was a news helicopter circling above.
Are the LEOs so dense, as to not recognize the problems they will soon face?
When 5-6 officers are present, isn’t one the most “senior” obligated to scream “enough,” order it stopped, when he sees the perp is under control?
