The way I say it, is that gay marriage establishes the usual liberal/libertarian rule for “marriage” as being anything that consenting adults say it is, which means that not only polygamy, but all kinds of relationships will come under the word “marriage” in time.
I just gave $$$ to Ted Cruz. tedcruz.org
I’ve had a pro-homo marriage advocate tell me that she is against polyamory because marriage is for 2 people...of course she dismisses that marriage has been a man and a woman but also historically polygamy has been practiced not same sex marriage
This tidal wave will eventually turn into a tsunami of grassroots support by Spring 2016.
There are more of us who love this country and want it back that the left has imagined.
But but but, Rand Paul is the real conservative here !
He’s so impressive that he’s sticking it to the media by not answering swarming ( actually, legitimate questions about Iran ) questions from the liberal media !
Yeah ! Yeah ! Rand Paul is our man, if he can’t stick it to the media no one can ! Yeahhhh !
The RonRandbots Neonuts say it’s so !
The heat that he’s taking from the media just for 2 days proves it !
Nothing to see here folks !
Doesn’t matter if Ted Cruz is and was taking more heat from the media than Rand Paul has.
2 weeks of the press and media hammering Ted Cruz doesn’t matter...... Sarcasm.
Most of the American public are fools who will support anything if they believe it will make them popular ("cool").
The MSM could probably get Hitler elected president.
Ask the pro homo marriage advocate if those who want to marry their horse or dog have the right to do so, and if they object to it, why is it wrong.
This isn’t the reason I am supporting him and I don’t know of anyone who is.
There are some that find this frosting on the cake, but this isn’t the driving decision.
They like the guy, they think he is an honest good man that they would trust their children to be around.
It’s always been true that if a pollster asks if the government should be able to force a woman to have a baby, the majority say NO, and if the pollster asks if a woman should be allowed to kill her baby, the majority say NO.
i’m putting your link on my google+ page thanks!
...”The way I say it, is that gay marriage establishes the usual liberal/libertarian rule for marriage as being anything that consenting adults say it is, which means that not only polygamy, but all kinds of relationships will come under the word marriage in time.”...
Yes. However, right now in America, human nature being what it is will step in and limit those things, I think. Laws are man made but the instinct to survive is given by God and man cannot overcome that with his law and science. Perversions of the man/woman union will create new and deadly disease which will not be contained with medicines. Add to that the jealousies and envies which come from broken relationships which are bound to occur frequently when anything goes and you will have great chaos and unhappiness from no legal responsibility in this area. The biggie will be the sexual abuse of children if pedophilia is redefined to make it acceptable by the pedophiles in power. Most normal people will not accept that any way except by force and most people will die rather than to allow that kind of abuse of children. I believe the majority of people do not want marriage redefined but we have many homosexuals who are now powerful in government, in academia, in the corporate world and dare I say in, in big religion. Sometimes I think the subject should be dropped and then it will get really bad to the point where society itself will act in response to the problems which will occur. When all the taboos are removed, then those who cannot control their sexual urges will seek sex 24 hours a day and many will be stalked or harassed. This was one of the things which took down ancient Rome. Will we be next? Time will tell.
“They like the guy, they think he is an honest good man that they would trust their children to be around.”
I completely agree. Cruz benefits from that negative media attention, because it causes people to check the big bad boogeyman out. Then, when they hear his policy positions, see his benign countenance, and begin actually listening to him, they come to the conclusion he’s actually quite likeable, undeniably brilliant, firm and confident in his beliefs, and refreshingly visionary in his outlook. Viewers then see Cruz isn’t the boogeyman as painted by the media.
Catch how the writer puts "traditional" in quotes, but not "gay marriage."
Might be a nice theme song involved at some of his campaign events...."I'm a Steam Roller, Baby..."
Traditional marriage is only one thing that people support Cruz on.
Don’t miss his speech today at the NRA Convention in Nashville.
That is certainly an oddly doctored photo of Cruz. The contrast has been altered to darken the faces. There is left to right stretching to elongate Cruz’s face. but then look at the shadow of Cruz on the left wall. It is totally out of place with the other shadows in the picture which seem to be a single flash behind the left shoulder of the photographer. It certainly is intended to make Cruz look evil!
Exactly. He's across-the-board conservative. What I also like about him is he has no fear of going into the belly of the liberal media beast to make his case. Actually, I think he relishes the opportunity. He swatted away that little liberal punkass Seth Meyers like a mosquito.
