The State Department has completed its review of Cuba's status as a state sponsor of international terrorism, President Obama announced today from Jamaica, bringing the U.S. one step closer to a potentially momentous policy shift towards the Communist stronghold.
President Obama said he would not announce any decision today about removing Cuba from the list and that the White House was still reviewing the report.
Cuban negotiators have made clear during talks with Washington aimed at reestablishing diplomatic and economic ties that the relationship could never be considered normal as long as Cuba was designated a sponsor of terrorism by the U.S. State Department.

Before Obama is gone he’ll undoubtedly given North Korea some sort of Freedom award.
I think Obama went to Jamaica to look at ways to turn us into a third world country quicker.
It does not change the fact that Cuba is a terrorist state

He should probably drop by Haiti too, as consultation there would definitely contribute to the economic “progress” he has in mind for us.
I have a friend who was on one of the last planes out of Cuba before Castro marched into Havana.
They were rather sad as they had to leave the servants behind, but, such is life. He now is a firm American, bleeds Black and Red, and when he dies, will go to live with Vince Dooley (folks from Georgia will know what this means).
Anyway, he doesn’t see any of this coming to a good end and won’t be returning to Cuba until they have a Democratic Republic.
That means that Cuban tyrannical regime will have access to U.S. and international bank credits guarantee by U.S. taxpayers. Venezuela substituted the Soviet Union as the sugar daddy of the Cuban regimen, and now, with the bankrupt of Venezuela, Obama was in a hurry to make of the American taxpayers the sugar daddy that will keep afloat the longest lasting and bloodiest tyranny in the history of this hemisphere.
